These would reset every 12 months of VIP so you have to re earn your way to the top 12 reward, and they can change the 12 month reward every year and other pots and such based off new content,
Some comments saying the points are too much, but when your ransacking and rerolling for loot in your favorite chest at 15 shards per reroll on epic your gonna run outta shards fast, and then you don't wanna waste ransack reset pot, so your buying more shards to capitalize on it. Even then I figure as tight as they are on giving out benefits, if they did anything even close to this the daily points would be the one thing they cut back first.

Seriously...most of these consumables are nice little goodies but they're stocking stuffers. A chest ransack potion means you can open a given chest at most 8 more times per month. A raid bypass timer means you get 11 raids per month max instead of 10. Treasure hunting potions (wait are those the good ones or the pointless ones? Those are so confusing) may give you 1 extra named item per month. None of that is game breaking, so go ahead and open the floodgates. Every month should get you at least what you got before, plus something extra. Then if you want to throw in more special goodies like exclusive mounts or stuff, that's on top of the base escalation of reward.

So a new mount and new pet, and recode a res item to be used in raids, not sure they can accomplish this with all the existing issues in game , but would love to see it, great idea. Much better than other VIP list.

The extra points would almost equal buying the points instead of VIP without the bonus point sale going. That makes everything else just gravey, including the current VIP benefits.

That being said, I still think it's a good idea, as it would probably make SSG more money as waaaay more people would sub for a year than do now.

I really don't know what their profit split is between VIP and people purchasing points, but this would def make people buy waaaay less points for sure, so might not go over that well.

I hate to say it, but I think it would be better starting with just something like 50 points and going up 50 per month, and also reset the bonuses each year (so you only get the highest amount of you sub straight through the year). I think most players would straight up just sub by the year with those bonuses though.

I would probably say make it a raid bypass timer OR sentient xp (not both), that you can choose every month. The raid bypass isn't useful for everyone, the sentient xp is, but having both, with the other bonuses and ddo points seems a bit too much to me (and I'm a VERY strong supporter of getting value out of VIP).

As much as I respect the effort that went into making this post, and think it's a far cry better than what SSG offered - I 100% believe it's going to fall on deaf ears. If they "previewed" their idea in any public way (in this case on Jerry's stream) - it's done. Signed, sealed, delivery soon. Like anything that pops up on Llama... even if we the players think a previewed thing is bad or needs fixing, too late and too bad. It's done. Our input means very very little to them. The fact that major game news like this always pops up on a non-forum location first (in this case on Jerry's stream), illustrates that the forum is at-best an afterthought and weighs nothing in terms of development.

I'm usually a white knight for the devs but even I have to admit my armor is greying very quickly because of this pattern of behavior the last few patch cycles. Nothing is more disheartening than realizing the preview process is pretty much just theater at this point and any major decisions are already a fait accompli

In my opinion your list contains far too many items that are usually sold through the DDO store, and adds far too much value.
Did you even try to add up the DDO points value of all the items you added? Did you consider if that would be "finacially responsible" for SSG?

Or was the list sarcasm? I am getting a feeling it might be.
