    Default Deepwood Stalker

Why does Exposing Strike have a +1 Crit Range/Multiplier and the ranged version Sniper Shot have a +2?

We know the devs hate melees but this is a little too obvious.

Because Tempest will double hit with it, and will get more mileage out of the Sneak attack window

Remember it was designed two decades ago...the game priorities were different

Because Deepwood Stalker was designed to favor ranged combat over melee. Notice how Aimed Shot, Leg Shot, and Head Shot don't grant melee attacks; Strikes Like Lightning is +10% Doublestrike +20% Doubleshot; and there's nothing akin to Improved Archer's Focus or Heavy Draw for melee weapons.

I also find it ironic when people accuse the devs of "hating" melee, when for a long time they were accused of "hating" ranged - especially archers pre-Horizon Walker. Oh how the tables have turned, or something.

    Well, except Power Attack.
I tried to create a signature with just my toon names on my main server and the list was too big to fit in the signature box. 45 toons on Orien. 250 total (as of 1/8/21).

    LOLz

Dumb question about Heavy Draw, does it actually work? Asking as I don't see the damage modifier go up when it's enabled.
