bc/dh spike growth question

BC 2 levels right now is useful on my dh. I am wondering, spike growth is level 2 ranger, level 3 druid. Should I take more than 2 levels bc for spike growth there? Or just all in on dh after the two bc levels?

The 18 dh doesnt seem worth it, but I am worried about diluting the power of spike growth with not enough levels for DC. Death eater looks like it would be nice with the traps/owl/ranged wis based dh i am trying to build.

Lower levels of ranger is meaningless for traps, trapping, and searching because you get +wilderness lore to all that and the druid levels count towards it.
