I'm pretty sure that once they introduce level 40, the ability to jump from 30 to 32 (or 34, etc), if you have achieved 32 (or 34, etc) once already, will go away and a new reincarnation system will be introduced. So a legendary tome will absolutely not be redundant (or dumb).

Let's be real here. As slow as SSG has been with getting things done. You think that they will achieve this before they permanently shut the servers down? I have little faith that this game will last more than a few more years with how they are handling it.

What SSG needs is a large cash injection for 3-5 years, without expecting quick (any) returns. And a solid leadership team to guide them. I can think of only one company which can provide both, but unfortunately that company is in the process of acquiring Blizzard.
