PSA: Black Dragon Bolt after Blightcaster changes

Was running Bullywugs and Booby Traps and wondering why the boss was killing me so easily with Black Dragon Bolt. Then I looked at the u58 release notes and came across this:

Black Dragon Bolt - updated to do 1d10 acid damage per caster level (Max caster level 25, caps at 25 to 250 damage). Applies damage and ticks three again over 8 seconds (Damage occurs 4 times in total)

Did some testing and it's buffed for us as well. There are going to be some really happy Earth Savants now. They also buffed Melf's Acid Arrow and Slimy Doom. I guess we get to benefit from these buffs for Blightcasters.

I can't remember where or when (was in the last few years though) but I swear the devs said that monsters weren't supposed to get our beefed up versions of spells.

Every spell pass in the past few years would disagree with them if they did say that.

I don't know if the mob spells are on par with player spells, but they used to seem unlimited in scaling when a champ critted with them. Disintegrate, Ray of Frost, and Searing Light were usually instant death if a champ, particularly a named champ, was casting them. Now they seem to be capped or something of the sort.
