    Default Artificer epic destiny

    While devs are all focused on creating new archetypes, and some are cool, all end up playing in the same way other classes do, just because they have limited destiny options. At the end of the day, they are using the same mantles and epic strikes.

    I believe that the most obvious lack is an artificer tree, that could also support rogue/dark hunters and other trappers. Better trap placement, new alchemy traps. An improved flame turret (working basically the same way stationary primal summons work) could cast homing magic missiles or cast admixtures.

    The options are endless.

    Not just trapping skills but also really lean into the whole technomagic thing, so it does constructs, some melee/ranged benefits, some attack spells (force & electricity). Some of those could be multiselectors too depending on what kind of focus you want.

    A few possibilities could be;

    one of those rapid-fire ballistas from haunted halls/toee as a tier 4 or 5 thing to summon that you or another party member can then use.

    emplaced fortifications (treat as player character for collision detection) for a more physical approach to crowd control, maybe a modified version of the ninja spy dunny that attracts aggo & needs to be beaten down but size-wise is about half that of a wall of fire.

    radiant shield spell

    unbreakable forcefields (as renegade mastermaker)

    improved turret - homing magic missiles is good, maybe just straight-up have it function as a summon (same as the flame turret) but with warlock levels & using the faltering blast or chain eldritch blast shape, then it'd combine very well with other destinies that boost the spellpower values of hirelings & summons.

    rune arm use & improved benefits of rune arms if you already possess the feat (eg. extra effective caster levels, faster charge, hold more charge tiers while moving, maybe extra benefits while holding a charge)

    have the mantle work similarly to construct essence so it grants construct-like benefits to fleshies (can be repaired, more resistances, immunities at higher tier), then additional benefits for actual constructs or if you already have the construct essence, improved construct essence & construct exemplar feats
    I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

    Yes! Artificer tree would be very very welcome!!!
    But it will be extremly difficult to make it work cause Artificer can be ranged with Repeaters, can be caster focused or even melee.
    So multiselectors hello hello!
    I would like to see abilities and skills or SLAs from the 3 Atrificer trees as an improvement or upgraded version in the Arti ED tree.
    A T5 Epic Moment like an Improved Tactical Detonation which clears the screen: KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM! would be fun
    etc
