Old Cannith crafting items

Posted this in new players, and no one had any suggestions that would work. Returned after a long absence, and I have a ton of old Cannith crafting shards. +1-5 Enhancement shards, + potential shards, deathblock and other non scaling shards, none of which work anymore. Is there a vendor that will exchange them or an altar that will convert them to something useful? And how do I go about it? Or should I just delete them all?

yes the shards can be ground into essences in the crafting device.
just like dropped items.

any collectables : can be exchanged for essences at the crafting vendor.

totally forgot about how it went with those old mats.

anyway, i'm positive you should try the craft hall npc vendor and its options, to see if you can barter old stuff for new.

eventually also try to decon old shards and stuff, can't hurt to try the decon altar.

I thought there was a window of time to do this, and that window closed a looong time ago.

Can't hurt to try, but don't be surprised if it fails. :/
