Does Efficient Metamagic of same type from different enhancement trees stack?

If you mean heroic enhancement trees i don't think it is possible to take both.

If we say you wanna minimise the cost for maximise metamagic you can take 9 less from druid seasons herald.

you could then take another 9 from an epic destiny forexample draconic.

You could also get another 4 from Legendary Staff of Arcane Power or any other item with efficient metamagic maximise II.

This means maximising a spell will cost you 25-9-9-4=3 more spell points.

I am not sure what happens if you add the Meridian Fragment for another -6 to maximised spells.

Some heroic combinations work, mainly maximise in Archmage but other combinations work as well. Generally speaking it’s less useful than it was as there are now epic Metamagic options which all stack.

I managed to save enough point and find out system does not allow choosing the same efficient metamagic on 2 separate tree.
