    Default Druid Elemental Forms Oversight?

It would be nice if there was a Druid enhancement tree that made the Fire and Water Elemental forms better at Melee (and Ranged, I suppose) combat.

Nature's Warrior seems to be geared most heavily in favor of Wolves and Nature's Protector in favor of Bears.

I can find almost no help for martial elemental Druids in the Season's Herald tree.

Any chance of helping out martial Druids in this way?

To help some folks conceptualize this, I'm thinking of a Druid 20 in Fire Elemental form using either the Mirana of the Flame Falchion (with the Legendary Ruby of Flaming Blast and the 9d6 Ruby of Flame augments) or the Valorius, the Flameblade Scimitar (also with the Legendary Ruby of Flaming Blast and the 9d6 Ruby of Flame augments). Sort of my version of the ultimate "Fiery McFireface" build.

I'm hoping Body of the Sun would proc the part of Anger of the Noonday Sun that debuffs any Fire Resistance/Fire Immunity a mob might have - lots of fire damage from a melee toon that way perhaps...

I think a big part of it is the whole thing of not actually getting those forms until much later in the levelling - my fire elemental form melee build is a tabaxi trailblazer monk/druid that uses the falconry tree to good effect for a blend of melee & casting, weapon-wise she's using the staff of irian which has some nice benefits, including being one i'd already pulled so didnt need to spend runes or grind

Body of fire works excellently for taking out the fire immunity, it's the main reason i took extend spell on her, to save the hassle of renewing it so often & combined with draconic & primal destinies she has a decent kick.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

SSG has always defined druids as "animals = melee, elementals = casters." Until they change that mindset, you could try THF druid 15 / barbarian 5 with falchions: level 8 spells, tier-5 Berserker for DPS bonuses, either STR-based with Rage or WIS-based with Falconry.

For the build I want to make, I have to have Anger of the Noonday Sun. That gets rid of any fire resist/immunity.

    druid 20 falconry vistani daggers
    17/3 swashbuckler
17/3 swashbuckler Aasimar Scourge (LR+1) with racial light maces

EDIT: that said, yeah, I would also like to have some wolf/bear-only enhancements/spells/abilities unlocked also for elemental forms.

I'd forgotten all about vistani for some reason, yeah that could be a tasty 2wf option to get all those extra imbue dice procs.

Druid class should have the benefit of the various forms but in DDO it's not possible to spec for more than one, hence the benefits should be less compartmentalised...

Default 17 Druid 3 Rogue build - WIS build - T5 Falconry - Fire Staff

I am running a 17 Druid 3 Rogue build - WIS build - T5 Falconry - Fire - ball of fire Stick fighter combo.
Works well. Only have a few points in open locks - no other rogue skills - others R3 gets staff speed and Gain feat: Swords to Plowshares.
I did spend the feats to get heavy armor and improved feint.

I thought about 17 Druid 2 fighter 1 Rogue (would be fine - gain one feat assuming you now need to take StP but get heavy armor for free).
I feel the Rogue AP spend is better...

Burn everything while to educating it with a staff.
