Wink Build Idea: The Coward's Way Out

So, two weeks ago I came back to the game after a long hiatus (I remember playing during update 32). It was awful, coming back and not remembering all the small things, like what scrolls you need and which quests are where. I TRed my paladin into a warlock, and got to levelling back up to 20. It was kind of painful when I started trying the every popular reaper content. I kept using the cone-shape eldritch blast, getting too much aggro to handle, and dying. Thankfully at least one person in the party had rezz scrolls and was generous in using them.

So, as I started relearning everything I kept thinking of ways to not die. Like wearing heavier armor, multiclassing, specific named gear, etc. I kept thinking I would change my ranged casterlock into a melee DPS-ing Enlightened Spirit 'lock.

What I started out with was a Dragonborn warlock (I don't think any of the pacts are particularly useful for a melee build, but I went for Carceri after my lesser TR) that used a lot of Souleater and Tainted Scholar enhancements; you see these all the time. When I did a lesser TR, I took two levels in fighter and the entire two-handed fighting style feat line. Two fighter levels got me two extra feats and Second Wind (fighters didn't have this back in my day...), as well as martial weapon proficiency. I spread out my enhancements in Enlightened Spirit for both 'Cleave-ish' enhancements, Tainted Scholar for Utterdark Blast, and I splashed Kensai for the Haste Boost. I also took the entire HP+ enhancement line in the Dragonborn racial enhancements.

So, I am at lvl 20 now, and I got this *BRILLIANT* idea as I was looking up ED options on the wiki; I could totally take Shadowdancer and benefit from both the subtlety enhancements as well as Evasion. Some points into Divine Crusader and Magus of the Eclipse wouldn't go amiss either.

Basically, this is my potential concept: We're always surrounded and outnumbered in quests, so I'm going to try and do as much dps as I can while taking as little aggro as possible. I haven't decided on what gear I want, and I don't think this will work very well, but I'm going to try it and see how it goes.

I have another heart available if/when it fails. At least it should at least be funny (to me).

    Thoughts? Questions? Roasts?

I am using Evasion, threat reduction, +reflex and the effect with spell cool down reduction and immunity to energy drain from Shadowdancer on both my bard caster and my nuker sorc. It is a great tree for many builds including casters. 13-16 points in Shadowdancer is really good.
