    Default High GPU temp

I just installed DDO on a new computer, Ryzen 5 5600x with RTX 3060 card. With all setting on low in DX 9,1080p it's running 70c on the Character selection screen. And only goes up from there. That seems high to me, considering I run other newer games at 1080p with much lower temps. I cut the frame rate to 30/20 in the NIVIDIA control panel and turned on vertical sync. But it's still running 70c on the Character selection screen and maxing in game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is an insanely High Temp, definitely something wrong there. My GPU does not turn its fan on until 60 and I never even come close with max settings.

You say other games are fine though?

Wish I could be more help beyond just confirming your problem is a problem.

Change the max frame rate in the troubleshoot section of the in game menu one notch lower. It's a bug with DDO on the character creation screen it really has no limit.

That fixed it, thanks. Kinda odd it overrides the NVIDIA control panel though. I was about to lower it to 1fps lol.
