Default I would say this is the most obvious missing monster.

Would make a great fight, make a great mount, make a cute cosmetic pet. Could make a super enormous one for a raid that swallows someone and they take Acid DoT until we beat on it enough to vomit the unfortunate out.

It has to look exactly like that too. One thing SSG does well is pretty accurately transferring the look of monsters from the page to the game. Man arms on a tiny winged tiny legged fire breathing serpent what a time to be alive. We all were here. It has to flap its tiny wings and hover at times please. This thing also fits perfectly in a sequel to THTH for sure. Great idea!

Also I see where Miyazaki got some of his inspiration.

    I am confused.

I know that the beast in Aelonwy's post is a bulette, and the one in cmecu's post is a remorhaz, but what the heck is a dragon with hairy human arms?

The most iconic creatures missing from DDO are Roper and Lurker Above.

Finally there would be something (other than Purple Worms) that is supposed to be a burrower, unlike those scorpions who, until recently, could burrow through solid stone.
