So when it says "..when you pick up specific bundles of Double Bonus Points.." the shared bank and mount are only available in the most expensive points bundle. They do give 2 upgrades with it. Not sure if I will spend that much though for it..

Side note, they have the shared bank upgrades listed as upgrades 38 and 39. My most recent upgrade is listed as 21 so it looks like we'll be getting lots of shared bank upgrades coming in the future.

That's a good deal on Sharn and Feywild if you don't already have them. Still not worth buying IoD and Saltmarsh for anything except coins. I hate to fa5rt away coins and then buy the better versions in six months or a year, but I would also like to play them some time this century. Decisions . . .

So far, been pretty disappointed with the sales with the exception of the Travelers Trunks. Was hoping to see tomes or shared bank/crafting bank storage on sale. The only thing I've bought was the trunks. They all ready have my money since I just bought the big point bundle hoping for some good things on sale to spend them on.

So, what's the deal with the Mastermind of Sharn being only 75% off?

I was going to upgrade to the Ultimate edition. I admit I screwed up and didn't catch it on sale for Black Friday but I thought no problem Xmas is right around the corner.

But now it's $13 more than it was just a month ago. That represents an increase of 66% on the sale price.

I'd love to spend some points but so far this year I have spent 0 in any of the sales, as little interests me as I have all the expansions, tomes, moneter manuals etc.. This also means that I have no need to buy points as I acculate quite a few by TRing toons (several thousand points waiting in vain to be spent).

Where are the character slots and the bags on sale for alts; I'd love to see the Hall of Heroes on sale.

A friend who recently started would love to buy Ravenloft, but this is only offered as part of a bundle and she already has the other expansions and so sees it as a bit of a waste to buy the Trove. She did buy the Sharn expansion in the summer but would have preferred Ravenloft.

It would be nice to have the albino mount, but what is the point in spending £150 on points when it is difficult to find anything to spend my current stash on. There have been some nice deals on Travellers Trunks, but the xp potions wasted on me as I often have to go AFK and so they tick down whilst I am not actively playing.

The Trove has good discount now so your friend can just buy that now to get Ravenloft pretty cheap.

Albino Clawfoot mount only available at the most expensive DDO point offer is ridicilous indeed... They should have offered it to everyone who bought any DDO points deal. When I saw the mount I was on my way to buy DDO points for the first time in years.. but now I saw the specific details they aren't getting any money from me again.

Thats what a Character slot is to most people who still play DDO. Extra characters means extra mules because they cant come up with a good enough idea to give us the much needed bank space..
I would say no more expansions, no new quests no new loot until they figure out how to give us more room and for free.. well a good chunk of it.

I keep saying get rid of BTC , make everything BTA, get rid of TR cache and make it just one huge shared bank , so no need to have all these extra banks. Not even a character bank.. Just one big huge main shared bank. Everything you need is there.

Of course not, when you transfer your HC toon back to your main server you should pay full price for the character slot. Maybe they will be on sale 3-4 months after HC closes assuming no new HC has been announced.

It's only on sale in the Market, i.e. for dollars/euros/local-currency. 2495 is the normal, undiscounted store price. Between raising the price of expansions from 2.5k to 4k points and putting expansions on sale in the marketplace (as they have done for Black Friday and December Deals) they are effectively devaluing points. Which makes the 500 points per month for VIP less compelling.

Well the last time they were on sale was July '21...so.. that theory is kinda shot. Your also operating on the belief that everyone plays the re-run of HC. I got my fey wings in HC S6..

I operate 7 accounts in total, that's 1 main and 6 support. On the #1 account, I'm at 46 out of 47 slots - i keep the 47th slot free from transfers from HC. On the #2 account, it's at 30 out of 30... I've been waiting to throw around 5k to 10k in DDO points for #3 account, and maybe #4.. Did i also mention about the fleet of muleships I have too. At last count, i have around 17 muleships.

Why, you ask would you need all that storage? Click the link in my signature.. at this moment in time, it's my OCD running free. it's literally having that one stop shop where people can come to me to trade, not necessarily for shards, but to trade commodities for items.

They actually took Ravenloft out when I was about to buy the top tier - seems an odd choice.
It seems there is a predilection for leveraging the 'junky effect' vs. actually creating value...

Ive a question about the albino dino mount - is it a one off like a gold roll? or is it like the nightmare and we can get copies on other servers?

I noticed some people had used it on Hardcore server so I am hoping there will be an NPC to pick up extra copies in the hall of heroes,
otherwise those who used it on hardcore 7 will lose it when the server is deleted.

Isle of Dread is probably the best cash deal you will see for a while @ 29.99. It costs roughly 5500 points for isle of dread and tabaxi and even on sale that is cheaper than the bundle that gives you 4k points with the bonus points.

It's unlikely the top tiers will ever go on extreme deep discount due to inclusion of the otto boxes.
