    Default I Can't Finish

So I like putting enhancement trees together. It's fun. So I figured last week or so I would try to put a whole class together.

    Omg. This is:
    So
    Much
    Work.

I really appreciate every class so much more now. The sheer scope. And the ramifications.

Enhancement Trees are one thing. A class? Wow. Much respect.

Thank you Team SSG, for all that work.

And don't forget to update the game with my half dragon racial Template. We are all waiting for it

I would prefer a playable kobold race.

A LOT of the work had already been done for them, at least as far as concepts and basic class features went.
If you really wanted a new DDO class, you'd pick one that already exists in 3.5, and pick 3 prestige classes that would fit it best.

Better yet, you'd take the class from a splatbook that hasn't been used yet, so the prestige classes within it are all up for grabs. (some of them would require creating that splatbook's system for DDO, which might be a lot of work)

    Here's my rapid example.
Swordsage, from the Book of Nine Swords.
A melee skirmisher, has a spell list that works like Sorcerers, with a bunch of spells known of certain levels, but almost all of them are striking spells like Druid animal form spells. Their cooldowns would be a bit special, with each technique's cooldown only ticking down once you stop using techniques altogether for a bit.
The three base enhancement trees would be Shadow Sun Ninja, with an aura that alternates between concealing shadow and blinding light, Master of Nine, that gets a few select spells base Swordsage doesn't and wouldn't normally fit thematically with the class, and Deepstone Sentinel, a tanking tree that debuffs and slows enemies near the Swordsage.

All of these exist in a book, the spells the swordsage would need to learn do too, I'd just need to adapt them to make them workable. The Swordsage also has its own class features I could feasibly DDO-ify.
