New to Hardcore? Don't die at Level 1 (or Lvl 2) (or Lvl 3...)

Don't zerg. Just don't. Don't even half-zerg. Show some patience, stay with the group, keep the group together around you. You want the group to stay together, to keep all that DPS focused as a single group-threat to mobs, to act as support for your DPS. Enemy casters die faster, champs die faster, everyone reduces that % chance to die. Also, groups of mobs have more targets, instead of just "you". There is no reward for being the "First to the key!" except being the first to find that unexpected greater % chance to die.

Don't fall behind either. My most recent death in HC was because I paused at a shrine which the rest of the party ignored. A caster we missed came up behind me and killed me.

If you absolutely need a shrine, make sure to tell the rest of the group and ask them to wait for you. If they leave you behind anyway, recall out of the quest and do not group with them any more.

to me, STOP Zerging. your in a party, be in a party. If all of your questmates stay together most quests on Elite are fairly easy. when you work together it goes a lot better. But, there is usually one idiot that goes supersonic and gets everyone else to want to keep up thay kills ppl.
