A good lawyer would say - first try to work it out quickly and with no legal fees by stating what the name is and see if whoever took it might be less attracted to it than you are, and perfectly willing to give it up. Most if not all of the good ones actually have the client's interest in mind and aren't just grinding for legal fees. I speak as somewhat of an expert in the area.

Having tried to get favorite names on all of the servers when I came here years ago - I can assure you that many good names are taken on *every* server and so whatever name you want - likely more than one other person has it somewhere. Maybe getting it before you did originally. For that matter I can assure you that many *bad* names are equally taken by many people - perhaps even more so,

It was meant as a bit of a light joke, really. I can't imagine anyone would REALLY consult a lawyer.

And yes, that was the point I was making, essentially.

Many times we imagine that we are amazingly original for having come up with a "good" name only to find out that others thought of the same name- and maybe even before we did.

I was having a smoke, and had the thought that one could say, in English "Great minds think alike." Or in German, a somewhat similar sentiment, "Zwei Dumme, ein Gedanke"

I jokingly pronounce his name as Yeets, but maybe. He must have crit failed a disable device, and then the code went haywire. But I was given some GREAT advice courtesy of steam for those who could not logout in time, one moment.

If you disconnect and think there is ANY chance your toon was in possible danger, do NOT simply log the same toon back into the same place. Log another toon in 1st, or if you can, log in the hall of heroes to GET OUT of the trouble spot. Even on reaper, you can reenter the quest since you didn't "exit". Many a player not doing this (me) has logged out only to log back in and find themselves DEAD."

For those of us who did not logout, we may have to make a new character, and then logout and login to the main. I am keeping them in case I am dead, and have to redo.
