DEATH SMILE GUILD RULES:
-Be respectful and supportive of all members. Remember that kindness and helpfulness are key to building a strong community.

-Keep conversations respectful and appropriate in all chats. Avoid offensive, vulgar, or divisive topics, and choose appropriate character names.

-Treat others with understanding and compassion. We are all working towards common goals, and sometimes setbacks and challenges are a part of the process.

-Avoid begging or selling in guild chat. Use the designated trade and crafting channels in Discord or in DDO for these purposes.

-During adventure groups, especially on high difficulty levels, the party leader has the final say on all decisions, strategies, and loot distribution. If you have concerns or feedback, please share them politely and listen to the party leader's guidance.

-Be generous and considerate of others, and you will receive the same in return.

-We will not tolerate bullying, abusive behavior, or derogatory attitudes of any kind. Any member engaging in such behavior will be removed from the guild and banned.

-Death Smile is allied with other guilds in the HCL. Officers will report any member banned from Death Smile for violating these rules to the other guild masters on the Hardcore League server.

-Share resources with those who can use them.
-Greed or neediness is not our way.
-Do not loot dry the guild chests, as they are a 'swap-shop' for the benefit of all members. Take something, leave something.

-Guild Chat is Holy Ground - a place for respectful and positive communication. Please refrain from discussing politics, fighting, using profanity, picking fights with other players, or trolling.

DEATH SMILE GUILD RANKS

Guild Master – Mary

Successor - ApocalypseDom

Officer – In our multi-game guild, officer rank is granted by approval of the senior members and appointment by the governing board. In DDO, on the Hardcore Server, the officer rank is not an official officer rank but is used because the game lacks other ranks. If you are a member who has reached the designated recruiting rank level, you will be given the officer rank. Actual officers, who are responsible for managing the guild and guild policy, are personally selected by Mary. If you die, your rank will be reset to member. The requirements for rank will change season to season depending upon the length and challenge of that season and its popularity.

Member - the heart and soul of the guild. Once you join Discord you own your spot. In game the guild only has 1000 spots for 1000 characters, so it is important to log in often to refresh your spot and to only guild your main or one alt you plan to play frequently going towards the event goals and turning in sagas for guild renown. Members who achieve a level designated by Mary for the specific season shall be officered. This officer rank in game is just to lock the toon in guild and allow it to invite, it is not an officer ranking in discord, or in another guild on another server, or in another game. Please contact Mary if you have any questions.

NOTE
A gentle reminder: be sure to log in often. We are removing toons level 1 that have been inactive for 12+ hours, level 2-8 that have been inactive for 24+ hours, and level 9+ that have been inactive for 48 hours. Please note that this is not personal, and we just need to make sure that all members of the guild are active and participating. To avoid being removed, be sure to log in frequently. If you will be away for more than a couple of days, please let me know. Attached is a rejoin token, and if you need help rejoining, send me a tell. Keep in mind that we do not yet have room for bank toons, craft bots, or pike bards. Thanks very much! - Mary
