So let me get this straight...
Deathward does NOTHING? doesn't block instakill, neg level or ability damage?
Greater Heroism isn't working for Fear Immunity
Shield isn't blocking Magic Missile, anyone check Night Shield?
And Spell Absorption isn't working?
At this point it might be easier figuring out which buffs ARE actually still working.
How in Xoriat do they break this many things? What were they even "fixing" that they broke this many spells? Are we down to a skeleton crew?
Am I the only one that is thinking about taking a break till the Anniversary Event?

From WikiDeath Ward does not block the ability damage of melee special attacks some Undead monsters perform. However you can negate the ability damage of these attacks by actively blocking. Clarification: Death Ward does block the Strength Damaging effects of various Umbral creatures on-hit. (Tested on Live and Hardcore servers, confirmed)

The simplest solution would be for them to suck it up and scrap this entire mess of a new system they are trying to create that nobody wanted.
If they would just work on the stuff that needs to be fixed, maybe they would get some people back .. but at the rate they are going they are on track to lose even more people. I only stay around because I just love Dungeons and Dragons.. but I have left before many times for other awesome games out there that dont have this kind of nonsense. Plus I dont have to pay to play this game any more. Even though over the years I probably have spent like 5 thousand dollars on this game from buying ultimate bundles on main account, standard on second account, buy double points 200 or 400 dollars worth every year. Used to be a subscriber, but not any more and never will until they start focusing on the right things.

Not really. Ican imagine that DDO requires quite a lot of manual testing. Then the number of testers and available time is the limiting factor. Just imagine you'd have to test all spell effects in the tavern PVP area.
In that case it would be good if you could test certain things isolated and automatically. The item generation and 0 stats is a good candidate for automated and parameterized tests.

Yup testing any quest with energy drain casters would have found the bug. But maybe there is no QA team at all anymore? Or they don't have time to test smaller updates like xx.1 xx.2 :-(
It appears that death timers are also not working properly. Don't know about the code but something with the "you are immune to X" is probably just broke

Going on record as saying: if this gets "fixed" and the purity filigrees still don't protect me from neg levels, I'm done with this game forever.
Also done with the game until this gets fixed.
