Default New player looking for a guild!

    Hello everyone!!

I am new to DDO, well i did play it briefly at launch but that was years ago. I am looking for a fun group of people to play with on either canith or orien. whichever I find the group to play with will become my main server. Im friendly, passionate, and dont give a you know what about who you are IRL. Im a drow elf and thats all there is to it

Other than that i like to joke around and have fun. I love to be helpful and i love to chat.

My in game name is Seltsam on Canith and SeltsamTod on Orien.

Looking forward to playing with you all

    Hey Seltsam.

    Welcome to DDO.

Finding a 'static group' of players is one of those things you find through participating and exploring the game world, and not something that you'll probably not fall into immediately. Just like any journey, you'll meet people along the way, and from there perhaps from there people will add you to friends (if you made a good impression) and want to run with you again, and perhaps that can lead into a static group. It depends on various factors, the more important being time zones. Some players like a flower sniffing exercise, others like much more difficult rating (reaper) content. So it's not just one rule across the board. And that's the same whether it's Orien, Cannith or any other server.

The other thing you'll find is eventually in the process of the game, you'll "evolve" out of being a drow elf (called racial reincarnation). You can always return to it for 'aesthetic' look if you wish, but the path to gaining more power is going through other races.

I would recommend you join an active guild, and run with people there and find out during the questing with others if they are interested in doing a static group. Putting a post into a guild chat in game, might not get the same results you are hoping for, as game chat is dynamic and only if you are logged in at that time. So find out if the guild has a discord too.

In my experience, random pickup players to form a static group rarely last that long. Guild static groups have more chance of continuing for longer.

    Good luck.

    Hey Seltsam,

I can help you find a guild on Orien, if you decide to run there. And since your name is german my guild might be interesting for you, if you are speaking german that is.
But I can put you in contact with several guilds. Static groups are a different story, just like Zavina said.

    And welcome to the game!

    Cheers,
    Titus.

    Hey Seltsam,

My character can invite your character to the Wild Cats on Orien, which is chill, lay back and new player friendly; or you can contact Cranjis on Orien. it is one of the largest guilds if you decide to go to Orien.

Or on Sarlona, my character can invite your character to 3 different guilds, including one level 200 guild.

Please send in game mail to Tyrande on either server, and my character can invite you.
