No one is "trapped" - some servers are not accepting transfers atm, but SSG has promised a free transfer TO those servers once that gets fixed in the near future.

So, a new hardcore league, and apparently won't have hounds or other dangers in it?
But the lockdown of quests will be +4? That will make it extremely easy.
Last time I died at 3k favour level 15 (because of 3 randonmly spawning traps which moved like an enemy). Also died with other characters but mostly because of the level lockdown and the hounds.

Too easy now. The rewards are kinda cool since I will be able to get a mount easily though. But seems too easy.

i'm guessing you didn't learn your lesson from last year's stunt like this. were you ****ED OFF your players dropping another season WITH OUT DUE WARNING jerry... like seriously are you trying to get players to quit? cause my crew litterally just got off our hc brake to relax for a few months now we got another out of left field season. It feel's like you trying to pull a blizzard and just **** off everyone.

I am not a forum crank or troll, love Ddo, and am a vip who buys all expansions and spends a lot of money on game. I’ve played HCL 4, 5 and 6.

But Devs need to know that hcl has a negative impact on main servers as it is impossible to grouo during hcl on mains. And after hcl, we lose more players than we gain, probably because HCL is so intense that people want a break and we probably lose some who get tired of difficulty grouping on main.

Bottom line: HCL is too frequent given the impact on main servers. I am not looking forward to December now.

Keep in mind that what you are asking is to make HCL less frequent so the players that want to play HCL are forced to stay on main so you can group.

This is actually untrue. I have one that would not transfer. I don't care, he was just a mule to move over so I made a different one and moved the things, but he doesn't exist in the transfer menu at all. A lot of other people have toons that won't transfer still stuck on hardcore with items they wanted. A lot of people on Sarlona seem to be having a problem. And some of them care about those toons/items.
