Will this be fixing the issue I am having going through the Isle of Dread Wilderness? I have tried it three times now. The first two was on my laptop and the last current was on my partners. All three when in the main wilderness shut the game off. I was trying to head to the quest points on it. I didn't have issues with the quests at all but the main Wilderness Area seems to have an issue?

Since there is no game update, its highly unlikely to effect a crash issue.

That being said, you symptoms sound like graphics driver crash issue, you might want to look in you windows logs for a message. Consider checking you drivers with the manufacturers web site to see if there is an update. If none of that helps, try switching to a different directx version.

There are 100's+ of different GPU models out there before you even bring into account the different manufacturers of the same model (which all have different drivers). Nobody can test all of those and since it is not a wide-spread problem, it is almost certainly system(s) specific. Try different (older or newer) drivers or different settings.

Following on the title, I was on last night, without issue. Absolutely nothing has changed on my end, but I now get stuck at 33% on trying to connect to the patch server.

No patching was done on any of my clients (2 laptops, 3 PCs).

Sure, it’s only a few days of daily silver/gold rolls (which many threads pop up complaining about their value), but there is a general lack of consistent communication from SSG. Some players waited until the last minute to burn their shards, and I’d agree that it was a bad decision, but this unprecedented move burns a sub-set of players. Had SSG made it known that they were going to turn off dice rolls early THIS time (never done on any of the previous 5 seasons), they would not have frustrated their players yet again.

Besides, is it too much to ask SSG to just consistently communicate with the player base? A little bit of a heads up would go a long way in the future, regardless of the size of the impact.

The lack of acknowledgement anywhere means I've transferred to another server, and now am blindly sticking to hope that you'll grant free transfers to Sarlona. I have good stuff on that alt that I want on my main server.

I also purchased a character slot for this. So now I'm hundreds of points and a potential 2500 server transfer down the drain.
