    Default Weekend bonus idea

I have an idea for a new type of weekend bonus, a Discovery Weekend where there is a bonus to the drop rate of all named loot. Maybe where the bonus varies based on the account type (VIP, etc.) I'm sure that this would require at least a little code change so it won't happened until there is an update, but it is something for the devs to think about.

I think this is an excellent suggestion. There is another thread were people are arguing about the drop rate of named items which SSG have said is 33%. Depending on which toon i'm playing the drop rate of named items can be more or less than.
    this number.

I think what they need to do is put some type of range protection in. So say you run 3 quests and no named item appears, than it always appears in the 4th quest. I have played a few games like this were the range is protected and i think its a great idea. (Personally i would increase the drop rate in Heroics to something like 50% - 60% and protect it, that way every 2 quests your getting a named item). One of the main reasons i haven't bought the new expansions is that depending on the toon i'm running the drop rate can decrease to as much as 1% - 5%. I absolutely love getting loot, but when your running the 12th quest of the night and still haven't seen a named item drop it can get very frustrating.
Another great idea would be on your 8th completion of a quest, the end reward gives you an option of every named item in the quest you can pick from.

I always think video game developers should be proactive rather than reactive. New players nowadays want to see shiny new loot when there running content. Telling them oh you have to run this content overlevel about 50 times to get the item you need, which you will probably only use for 3-4 levels and than you'll need to farm another piece of gear, really puts new players off playing the game.

Some of the older quests have this. Every single quest needs it.
If I can read the dev tracker, you can too.
