Game Settings Wont Stick.

Hello, I bought a new pc and re-downloaded the game and something strange is happening.
Everytime I log into the game all of my settings are back to default. I wouldn't mind it much if it was just the video/audio settings but its my key mapping and everything else.
I searched around and saw a few old forum posts about this and tried some of the suggestions from the (like deleting the UserPreference file and letting the game build a new one, coping my old user preferense file from my old HD, redownloading the game using an older installer) nothing worked.
It made the game really unplayable for me.
Anyone has any sort of solution?
I'd really appreciate it.

It seems that the UserPreference file is writing just the luncher settings and not the in game settings, Like it writes and remembers my username, last login, every server I logged into, the moment I enter a server the I get a messege that the game is able to run using DirectX11 and thats the moment the UserPreference file stops writing, it wont remember the directX11 settings and wont write any of the in game settings

One possibility is that the game does not have permissions to add/modify the local files to save your settings

the problem is that it does modify the UserPreference file, but just the luncher part of the file (like the last user/server used to log in) but nothing from the in game part of the settings is getting modified

I turenned it off, still nothing changed, I even thought that maybe some of the settings still remained so I re-installed the game with the option off and nothing change.

Have you tried setting them, click the ok button on the bottom when you are done, then logout your character, don't actually close out the game completely, then log back in.

I know I had a similar issue years ago and it was somehow related with logging off the character.

Or maybe I set, logged out, then closed out the game completely, then logged back in.

Run as admin in windows. I seem to remember having a similar issue with a more modern pc build and that solved it for me. Also I never had luck with the virtual x64 version of the launcher. Went back to x86 despite running a real x64 machine.
