I wonder if the Festival of Olladra will ever make another appearance? I still enjoy my paralyzing acid daggers.

Yeah, I remember +Sir Lawrence.
However, that +2 Initimidating dagger of Paralyzing Acid is only ML8. It is unbound, but subject to permanent weapon damage if not repaired in time. You do know that right?
The paralyzer on it only works on DC17. Also, the chance of winning that dagger with all 4 numbers correct is .05 x .05 x .05 x .05 = 0.00625% i.e. very low.
its basically one out of 160,000. With the numbers of DDO players on each world sitting around 300 to 600 live, none of us is going to win.
That weapon is also useless in modern Feywild, Isle of Dread dungeons.
The spectral dagger from Night Revels also has a ML8 version and it has 50% more effective DPS, and works against ghosts and undead and has vorpal.
In order for that weapon to be better, they need to add wounding, puncturing, tidal or vorpal to it; and also +1.5 dice.
With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility
"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"
Gotta imagine Goldcurse completely obviates any utility for the paralyzing dagger now
