Default What type of TR do I have cued up?

Came back from a bit of a break to find one of my characters cued up for a tr but for the life of me I cannot remember what type of tr it was. Is there somewhere in the UI I can check to see if it is epic, iconic, heroic, or racial? Thanks in advance.

I don't think you can tell which reincarnation it is just from the main menu tab. I could be wrong but I've never noticed any difference there myself.

I guess the only way you can tell which type it is is to click the reincarnate button. Then depending on what choices are available to you in the character creation you can at least approximate.
If you can make changes to character class it could be true heroic, racial or iconic. If you can't then it's epic or lesser reincarnation. You should still be able to exit the character creation then, so it can tell you whether you'll be starting from level 1 or not.

Wow, this is a disaster waiting to happen...

It's a really, really bad plan to "cue up" a Reincarnation. Generally speaking, you want to get it done asap, too many things can go wrong if you delay. Waiting overnight is bad enough, over a weekly reset is a terrifying concept, and waiting over an Update is just begging to lose something - tomes, gear, something, everything, no thank you. This... oy. Good luck, pilgrim, you may need it.

Beyond that prophecy of doom (and the sincere hope that I'm wrong!), no, I think you have to dive in and at least start the reincarnation and see what is being asked for.

Not sure if there's text anywhere that states that specifically.

But if you had a TR cache previously, it's a good way of eliminating some options. If you log in and still have a TR cache then it's either an Epic or Lesser.
Iconic, heroic, or racial can only be done with TR cache emptied.

If you didn't have a cache, you can go into the level 1 character build screen and check if it's an Epic R; your choices will be limited to the build you had previously. Lesser +# can change your class but not your race.

If your options are open then it's either an iconic/heroic/racial.

If its not an iconic and is level 30+, its probably epic, not racial and not heroic.
If its an iconic and is level 30+, its probably iconic reincarnation.
If its level 20, its probably racial or heroic, I don't recall if the reincarnated feat is already added to the character at this point.
Yeah, check your character sheet and look under Past Lives and see if the feat is already there, and determine which past lives were selected.

    A) Why does it matter? Would you try to overwrite it with some other kind of reincarnation? Would you?

    B) You *can* log in to a character queued up for reincarnation. So you can at least check out current past lives, whatever. So just plan your next life, and make a plan for both epic and heroic (or iconic).

    C) Then just find out

    D) Profit. Or loss.

Thanks! This is what I wanted to confirm. It is most likely an epic tr cued then since I still have a tr cache. It looks like I should cue up all my sagas now before I hit that shiny reincarnate button. I was mainly worried I would need to empty the tr cache everything looks a lot different since that bank update I haven't really played since dread and hardcore league went live.

This is how I always do my reincarnation process. Sometimes I play on a character for weeks with an epic cued up. It lets you do an epic, racial/class tr back to back on the same day if you wait out the 3 day timer on the epic tr first. Just make sure to close out the game after you finish your epic tr, and after you cue up the racial/class tr. Usually I give the servers 5 minutes or so before logging back in. Never lost any item, tomes, etc. I've even left it to go through multiple game updates some times. The main thing is to log out shut down the game completely after choosing to tr at the tr grove. That and whenever I get rebirthed at the shipwreck I normally do not move until I see every item cleaned out of my inventory into the new tr cache.

You could already do this without waiting, epic reincarnation does not put you on timer for heroic/racial reincarnation.
