I was going to post the same thing. Attacking with eldritch blast and then trying to use Stricken or some other ability and you have to click that thing 5 times before it goes off. Same thing for Dragon's Breath (racial or DI).

Yeah the delay between eldtrich blast and spells or spells just not going off is making me not play any warlock except ES (blaster at low levels and just barely cast anything). A pity since warlock is a fun class and ES isn't really good at endgame so only for a warlock PL.

Yes, I get that, but if you take other imbues it adds dice to your imbue?

Unfortunately, no. Only imbue dice from other sources add to your imbues. People asked for what you are asking for but we didn't get any traction there.

Just wanna go on record to say inquis is officially broken, as I very vocally predicted in the lamannia forums. you guys can expect an incoming nerf once a few people figure it out. it is actually quite insane. in the mean time it is very easy to make it the most broken build in ddo currently. lolz

edf is finally gone and it is the most positive change in quite a while

but we are still juggling hp here and there (not some abomination like original edf, but something feat\build related, some sanity at last), the original issue that made edf come into existance, bloated mob hit\damage (for less experienced players, vets were fine) when legendary was introduced, before reaper, is still not addressed. i guess it's easier to juggle hp here and there instead of changing mob stat scaling nowdays that edf hp bonus went on for so much time, game evolved around it, and it affects both less experienced players and vets alike, since high reaper, specifically reaper raids, became a thing. and since the original issue is still not addressed more hp must be a thing and uber tanks must be a thing.

please, i see a lot of caster hate, misplaced, cause it's melee frustration. and i feel bad for melee lovers. please ssg find a way to help them and forget about those proposed dodge\dodge penetration changes or whatever it was, as a start.

but Val, if you reduce mob damage ranged and casters will be even more op and they are already solo waltzing in r10.... 1st, no one is solo waltzing in r10, and even if, if a player every 1000 is able to cause knowledge\skill, just let it be, it's wai for such a player, if you are top and able to you deserve it. 2nd, ranged and casters are not a target, nerfing them will solve nothing, melee needs help. 3rd: some spitting ettercap oneshotted my sorc with 3k damage in r10. i was killed cause i was spitted upon, i will never recover from such a shame, and i have in reaper 2100+ hp and 200+ prr wearing a pajamas. now some players will jump on the chair screaming how those stats i can't even figure out how, like i would have done years ago, really, and others will say meh what a peasant, rookie numbers. i still have to figure out the top players numbers still nowdays, how can they hit them, and the climb goes on. anyway, i have only 70+ reaper points. i mean, if damage is reduced, the ubers will be unaffected, players like me will be oneshotted anyway in r10 latest content cause i'm a bad and not optimized so obviously i get oneshotted in latest content r10, cause instead of 3k i'd take what, 2.3\4\5k? it means dead anyway, but it is ok and wai, but the less optimized playing lower difficulties will not be oneshotted. and we are back again at the core issue, and the solution to all complaints melee players are still vocal about. from my point of view, correcting mobs bloated stats and taking aways weird hp% bonus will change nothing for the ubers, it may or maybe not change something for those in the middle like me, and will be a game changer for the others.

important: i have no experience in high skull raid push, it's not my place and i stay out of it, if all of this stuff makes no sense for some uber used to it, and my ideas are just plain wrong from their point of view\experience, please bash me, i can learn something and i'd love to.

Was a bit shocked to see this, when everyone else and their mother gets +20%hp, my cleric's domain gets nerfed by 60%. And right after I was finally done with epic pl's, got back to L20, picked animal domain and about to hit cap for the "final" time. Thanks Turbine... How about you fix Incredible Healing, Light and Dark, buff Bliss and make TU worth using etc. before you get these brain aniurisms. Couldn't log for a few days, but this and the dying playerbase makes me want to look for alternatives sooner than later.

    Default Dark Apostate question

Why was dark apostate left out of the hp buff? I would think they would be considered some kind of melee tree considering they get imbue. Maybe the 15% if you consider it closer to EK.

Probably too general of a tree. If you are going melee, you are likely also going warpriest tho, so you have it there.

Because Animal Domain isn't supposed to be a healer domain. It is all bonuses associated with attack damage, with a preference towards melee damage.

Melee Animal domain clerics still have their HP buffed, but people who were not using it for it's intended purposes get told to pick a more relevant domain.

great. just great. Is it broken like something is wrong with the math/scaling/some formula somewhere? Or is it broken like some unintended synergy with something that wasn't up on Lamannia? I have nothing against them fixing a math formula to work like it was meant to or prevent something unintended that they didn't test. Its when they over-correct something intended so they can keep their newest thing that ticks me off like nerfing monk unarmed damage but keeping the (at-the-time) cap raid handwraps OP. Or nerfing IPS for ALL ranged so Brand New Cherry Flavored Horizon Walker on AF steroids could be better. *rolls eyes*

16d6 filigree damage converting into +2 dice really stinks, especially if you do not have an imbue.
If you have no imbues, it definitely sucks. If you DO have an imbue, the advantages are: (1) the imbue dice from filigrees stack (whereas the filigree weapon procs explicitly would NOT stack) and (2) most of the imbues scale with spell or melee/range power.

Level 32 Artificer with Battle Engineer imbue, 13 bonus dice (so 14d6 total), around 600 Electric Spellpower and 250 Universal Spellpower, the imbue typically procs 400ish damage and upwards of 700 damage occasionally. (They seem to be able to crit as well - at least the electric proc for Artificer seems to...) WAY more than I ever got from those filigree procs.

But yes, being forced to re-spec to get the new procs (I was Battle Engineer already so didn't matter) or lose the damage could be bad. I did notice the free store item this week is a +3 Lesser Heart though...

    Pure Arti?

where are you getting the dice?

I’m sure I could figure it out but haven’t been to cap on my Arti since the update

Mostly curious what you are taking to see what I might have to sacrifice for dice

So far in heroic have to stop using Deadly weapons which I think is lame it should give +1W & +1 imbue dice not as much as greater elemental but enough to keep it useful and instead it appears to be a dead spell now

4 dice from BE enhancement tree, 6 from Filigrees (3 Long Shadow, 3 Electrocution, 2 Reverberation), and 3 from Scion of Air Legendary feat. Still trying to decide if I want to drop Deadly Weapons for Elemental Weapons or not. (Somehow I never took Greater Elemental Weapon while leveling. *sadface*)

EDIT: Err that might be confusing. I mean 3 Long shadow FILIGREES (for +2 dice), 3 Electrocution Filigrees (for +2 dice) and 2 Reverberation filigrees (for +2 dice).

I noticed that crayfish are still burrowing. Can they get the same change that scorpions received?

Sounds like something unintended. Those situations do not get nerfed, they get FIXED. There is a difference.

First of all who tf plays cleric as eNDgAmE melee/ranged dps, esp when the only thing benefiting really from this domain is the fort bypass.

    Bonus to listen and spot...Lmfao

Feral charge is a universal gtfo button, helps any playstyle.

Lastly, in a garbage rpg like ddo where hp is so important and you can't heal anything when you're dead, hp and reflex bonuses become a godsend to a healer type.

p.s. if hp was so out of place for this rng bonus domain we'd see a complete replacement of the passive bonus, what we got instead was a nerf.

But Specifically REQUIRES a melee weapon to use and does bonus weapon damage.

Also, on the whole "what kind of cleric goes melee" argument, the newest archetype, DA, is heavily encouraged to go melee, due to to the plethora of favored melee weapons over ranged available. If the entire domain was supposed to favor that style of play and was being used on builds explicitly contrary to that, a balance adjustment seems reasonable.
