Cosmetic Orbs

I finally got the cosmetic shield from Night Revels only to find out that orbs are not considered shields. Are there any cosmetic orbs? Is there a way to change so the orbs are considered shields?

Orbs are orbs, shields are shields, nothing you can do about that.

There are no ready-made cosmetic Orbs, but you can make your own by using Mirror of Glamering on any orb.

I think I have to do a couple of All hail the king for one of those barrels. Looks like fun for a drunken pirate kind of build.
Would be killer if the throwing animation of Alchemist could be updated to be throwing barrels of joy instead of bottles when equipping such an barrel orb.

That said, I want to run around with a couple of barrels strapped to my back and a big cannon for a rune arm.

At least there are logical reasons for why you cannot use a cosmetic orb over a shield and vice versa, it has to do with the animation for the item the character is holding.

By the way if you are going for a spooky theme, the Mist Fallen Orb from Ravenloft is quite nice. You could go for one of the skull orbs but they have yet to really make them look spectacular.
