This quest is.... not good at all. Spent 30 mins searching every nook and cranny and could not for the life of me find the 9th clue. There's a treasure chest on the 2nd floor in a secret room that is locked, but not pickable, and doesn't have a key or any way to open it. I have a feeling it's going to be like that at launch too (Looking at you Fall of the Forbidden Temple chest that is still not openable after 3 months). The trial at the end is dreadfully boring. Who thought making you spend 4+ minutes dancing on tiles was a great idea? There were also many instances of the game not registering that I was dancing on a tile and it acts as though I didn't do anything. As for the blackmail charge, the quest completely broke upon talking to the sphinx for the first clue, as she just kept repeating her dialogue, and the quest would not advance. This is one I'll probably never bother running.

Oh, finding notes and stuff is plausible, but why would someone create a hologram depicting themselves bribing a judge?

I did the same. Twice I did it just incase I missed something.. There is one thing I need to recheck.. if you remember down on the first floor, there is a room that has two notes in it ( sparklies clues) One of the notes rwads about prismatic dogs costing 2,500,000 plat etc.. and then there is another note behind the barrels.. I could swore when I read the note about the pricing of the prismatic dogs the amount of clues found did not decrease, but I could easily be wrong. Im tired and sleepy. i will go check again and edit my reply ....

The trial at the end was ok, it was interesting to do something different but the yellow ones you need to /kneel on.. I havent had one of them yet to work.. the /dance2 I get to work about half the time, and the regular /dance works most of the time but not always... The mechanics just seems to buggy... sometimes it works , sometimes it doesnt. You can go to bluish green tile and type /dance2 right away, and you get booed.

Issue I see with this quest, is that people who can not type fast, or have fingers like mine that hits many keys when I type, are going to be fighting nonstop.. I cant see how any person who slow types or has many typos will be able to do this part. Neat concept, but way way too finicky of a quest and not people typing impaired friendly.

The final issue I had , is when I tried to do the 3rd accusation.. the jury appeared behind me, but there was no pedestal that appeared to start the process like the first 2 accusations.

Note this is my third time now.. So i notice that the clues can be different places.. explanation below in name of clues. 5 and 9 clues starting...

Scorched note - in room with dogs and the hams, pots pans, laying on the fire stove.. worked 4 and 8 clues now...

Sealed Envelope - next room south of dogs and ham , laying on table.. also searching reveals gold key up on shelf. 3 and 7 clues now...

Sacred Tome and Broken device - So i was 3 and 7 on clues to find. When i clicked on sacred time ( in room south of sleeping dog on bed, had to pull lever to open wall. piles of gold) it remained 3 and 7 clues to find. to the right of the sacred tome is a pedestal which had a broken device on it.. clicked on it 2 and 6 clues now.. ( this is like the bug i said above with but it was the 2,500,000 cost for dogs and the other note behind barrels in same room. this seems to be the bug when 2 clues are in the same room ) Normally my first two runs, the room with the sleeping dog on bed, there was a hologram clue on table of Worthridge and his wife and son which is a clue, but it wasnt there this time, instead broken device in the next room with sacred time appeared

Business Ledger and Silver key - in room with tall files cabinets and 6 drone guns.. searching reveals silver key on table. clicking on business ledger now 1 and 5 clues

Old receipt -- this is the room where receipt is for 2,500,000 plat for dogs.. but this time no note behind the barrels.. just the receipt one. AND clicking on receipt did not lower the count.. so thats 2 clues that didnt lower count. still 1 and 5

this one was realy bugged .. i couldnt even find the last 4 notes..
this quest needs some work for sure.. super buggy...

fireplace had no note this time

( not sure what the locked room you need pick lock, or rogue to pick, knock.. inside room is kids toy blocks, kids tiny play house. bed.. never been anything in this room.. kind of pointless room. )
Crumpled Letter -- room with bed and owl bear rug with desk on top of it.. clicking on letter took em down to 0 and 4 ( 4 optional clues to find )

Also note the 3rd accusation Blackmail just doesnt work at all... you can accuse but you cant do anything with the jury.

If the devs need to see this more specifically just let me know because I was streaming all night tonight while on Lammania, so i have all 3 quests recorded.

I ran this quest with a brand new Shadar-kai dagger rogue in starter equipment with a level 15 healing hire on Normal difficulty.

I made a good faith effort to search the entire penthouse and find all 9 pieces of evidence. At about the 30 minute mark, with 8 pieces of evidence found, I gave up.

I did not find any indications for how to set the two puzzle wheels. I spun them both until hitting the correct combination.

After taking the elevator up to the sphinx and talking with her, I was unclear how to proceed and finished out of the quest. I do not understand the relationship between the different pieces of evidence and the three accusations.

Throughout this quest, I did not understand the story or the implications of the evidence. The story is not self contained and presumes I know things I obviously do not know.

Can't say that I enjoyed this quest. It brings back memories of "eye know who dunnit" in which players are forced to find randomly placed clues in the dungeon. Maybe these clues are static, and once a pattern is learned, it will be ok.

I didn't like that I couldn't find any notes or information on the puzzle wheels. Randomly spinning wheels, and then leaving the room to see if it had any effect wasn't fun.

I finally got 5 clues and headed to the court room. I chose option 3, which i thought was going to be a fight. I placed my evidence on the table, the defendant denied it as proof and then the quest never did anything else. Used a DD to leave the room and come back, still nothing, the quest doesn't proceed.

Leaving the quest now, with it unfinished, as I can't get the trial part of the quest to do anything.

Tried the quest again with the same end result. Ran around collecting evidence, went to the trial, started the trial by choosing bribery, which is option 3, i placed the evidence on the stand, the defendant just denies the evidence, and then the quest just comes to a grinding halt, as there is nothing further that I can interact with. Can't speak to the judge, or add new evidence. Again, I finished out the quest, with out a completion.

Once more I tried the quest, again on a level 32 bard running EE>

Ran around the quest, picking up clues until I had 5. This time in the trial, i noticed a stand that allowed me to interact with the jury, basically by choosing random sayings, and having to do that over and over, wasn't sure what the point was, but fortunately, I didnt choose wrong ( not sure i even could), and finished the trial. Took the DD back to the room with the eye, killed the trash in the room, and then the boss, making it able to complete the quest.

Tried a 2nd run of this quest for some reason. The Old Receipt and the Sacred Tome of Vecna both do not advance the evidence objective, and bribery always causes the quest to break.

I had the same two problems - no indications about puzzle wheels at start and only 8 pieces of evidence.
I saw a guard hound lying on the bed and looking like the final piece of evidence, however nothing happened on interacting with it. I could click it like normal interact, so I believe this might have been the last clue but is currently broken.

    For the ending:
Charge 1 was extremely long and boring - dancing for several seconds 5-8 times is too much.
I am not opposed to the idea of dancing on tiles, but once/twice, not for several minutes straight.

Charge 2 went without any issues - I liked the dialogue a lot.

Charge 3 (blackmail) broke the quest completely as others pointed out - the quest did not advance after putting the evidence on judge's table, just got stuck at this point - I could repeat putting the evidence infinitely, triggering the dialog between sphinx and Barry every time.

However, apart from the (too long) dancing part and obviously the bugs, I liked the idea behind the quest a lot (I'm one of the people that like Eye Know Whodunnit as well)

    Edit:
The chest found on the upper floor is locked and can't be unlocked, even by bells.
There was one locked room with absolutely nothing inside - not sure what is the point in that.
On second try I managed to complete the quest correctly (did not go into blackmail charge).
