Silly Question - Why doesn't Dragonborn - Memories of Flight show wings?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought in most D&D campaign settings, some Dragonborn end up specifically getting wings, unless there is something different about the Eberon's Dragonborn that I am unaware? So why doesn't Memories of Flight show some kind of dragon wings temporarily appear whenever I use the ability? FVS and Exalted Angels both get their angel wings when they use leap of faith. I know this doesn't really affect game play, but it still bugs me since DB are my favorite race

Side note - I wish it didn't set Dire Charge, Lead the Charge and so many other dash abilities on CD. It doesn't SAY it doesn't even say it does in its tool tip. :-(

The bigger problem, IMO, is why does Memories of Flight have only one charge, with a 15 second cool-down? It should have multiple charges with shorter cool-down, just like Leap of Faith and the other similar abilities.

In my actual pen and paper campaign I play a dragonborn warlock. Told the DM that I am a dragon and the DM summoned a red dragon that says, "Did someone say that they are a dragon? Who is the real dragon now?"

and then she says... that's why dragonborn has no wings...

It's likely not enough money was allocated to the Art Department to implement them.

That I would love to know... especially since Leap of Faith doesn't do the same thing. And as someone else pointed out, it is questionable that it doesn't get multiple charges, which is depressing when you consider the fact that it requires you spend 15+ AP to get it.

I just realised the art/animation for this already exists on Draconic Incarnation's ability "Spread Your Wings".

So there is very little reason to not apply that to the Dragonborn's "Memory of Flight".

In 5e, there's nothing I can find that says Dragonborn sprout wings.

Well, Gem Dragonborn can, but we don't have those. They didn't come out in 5e until after Dragonborn was added to DDO anyway.

The main reason is probably licensing issues. There's little things like that that may or may not be allowed by WotC.
