Default New Old player : A question about expansions

    Dear friends,

After quite a few years of absence, thanks to the none support for Mac users, I am back in my beloved (?) world of DDO.
After an unsuccessful attempt with Bootcamp , I bought a windows machine just to play DDO.
It took me another two days to find the cryptic solution for the DirectX 9 issue (thanks again devs) and I and Roufianna the ranger are officially back.
I see a lot of new content so if you wouldn't mind sharing your wisdom with a noob oldtimer.

I got my VIP sub back. This includes all adventure packs apart from the expansions, correct?
I see so many new expansions, is there a way for me to check which ones I already own? Because I am completely lost.

Thank you all in advance and I hope to see you in game.
( Hope people are still forming parties)

VIP does NOT include expansions, that is correct.

To see what content you have; there's a few ways, some of which work better than others:

    1. Go in game > open up the ingame store > click on the downward triangle beside your name > choose 'ORDER HISTORY' from the drop down

Now scroll through the list (it'll go back to 2015) and note what you own.

    2. Go in game > open up the ingame store > click on Account > click on Content (whatever it's called). Now work through the various content pages. It's suppose to work like this: If you OWN the expansion it's not suppose to be listed for you to buy (so you don't goof up and buy it again). Also if you see a GUEST PASS listed for an expansion, that means you own it.

I haven't tried it here in DDO, but I know in LotRO it's hit and miss because of the 99pt sales they've done in the past. Sometimes the system see's the 2495pt version as different from the 99pt version, even though the only difference is the price.

    3. Go to the SSG MY ACCOUNT page and there's a chance the major buys you did will be listed.

Now of course only the My Account one has a chance of showing what you bought via the ONLINE Marketplace as nothing from there will show on the ingame order history.

Others have answered how to check what you own. In terms of what you want, I think Ravenloft and Sharn are essential. Feywild has great gear and quests are pretty fast exp. Saltmarsh is nice but not essential. Dread is not great gear but probably necessary given lvl cap increase.
