Server transfer questions

Hello, imo atm orien's kinda dead, idk if its cuz HC or something else, but it has been this way the last 3 times i came back to the game. Can barely get heroic groups, Slayers or raids are a rare sight on the group system etc, because of that i was thinking bout transfering to Argonessen.

Wiki says that somethings dont carry over, mostly "alt character stuff". however i would like to know the specifics, like things that arent obivious just so i dont make a bad decision.

Things i know:
- Need to get every favor reward again
- I only have 1 character anyways so i would have to send her evertyhing (including the shared bank) and not have a TR cache
- I'll lose every reward from Monster manual but not the manuals itself
- Wont carry the astral shard balance
- I would have to refarm my mount since it's on the stables (Borderlands one)

Things i wonder about:
- What bout my Happy15ddo coupon quests? I got sharn and RL from points, but would the quests from the coupon carry over?
- Do any items stay behind?
- Is there a PP cap to transfer?
- i Alrdy used my 15th bday token, and since its just an item now, the item will carry over right?
- Cloak aswel i assume? cuz its an actual item in my inventory, just like any other cosmetics

Besides that, anything else you guys know that has some specifics to it?

One rule of thumb that i noticed its that basicly everything you buy from the store with DDO points its Account-wide, while things obtained in game are server wide

Quests you own are account based so you will have those on any server.

It might be premature as Orien is now the default server so is likely to get an influx of fresh players. Hardcore season isnt helping Orien for sure.

The main other consideration: mounts (and non combat companians) are server based though some can be reacquired on your new server (eg from an expansion bundle etc.)

You don't lose character based favor rewards, so you will keep the extra backpack/bank space, etc. You will lose the server based rewards (i.e. access to warforged).

You will lose the MM rewards and I have heard stories that it will mess things up if you have fewer account kills on the new server then on the old server, but I can't verify it.

Your extra feather tokens will carry over.

And has been pointed out Orien is coming back to life.

If you have your own guild ship and amenities on Orien and any items on the chests on the ship, those won't transfer over.

Astral shards, and any purchase of astral shards, those won't transfer over either, and neither is shared bank or shared crafting storage items.

And some of the newer favor rewards are specific to the character and not account-wide.

I just did a transfer from Orien to Argo.
Everything in your BP and personal bank is transferred. Nothing in the shared bank is transferred.
My mount came over too.
Manuals carry over but you have to build it up again.
Astral shards don't transfer.


Advice.
Stock your bags with all your good augments. Bring everything you really want and put it in your backpack.

Was your mount in your backpack or your stable? Mounts still in your backpack should transfer, but mounts in your stable won't. Or did you buy your mount and was actually already there (and already on every other server)?

Before you transfer over, I would log into the different servers that you are thinking of transferring to, at the times you play, and see what the population is. I wouldn't base it off of what server has the highest population, but which server has a high population when you play. It doesn't help you if there are 500 players online during the hours you don't play, and 25 when you do.

Also, your crafting storage will not transfer with you, so its important that you empty it, of everything of value. If you are a crafter, this is very important, as you need collectibles to craft with. Make sure to grab all those raid runes and threads of fate, and filigrees you might want as well.

If you run out of space in your collectible bags, remember, that the BTC bags that are exclusive that you can buy in House P, you can fill, put in your bank, and then buy another one. I use this during HC season to transfer back collectibles during my time there.

I Think im ging to follow the tip and stay on orien for the time beeing, checked argo groups via DDOaudit and ingame and theres only a big diference im specific times like it was sayed here. And it's true, we got fresh blood on orien, i think im just stucked in a bad spot where new players arent interessed in the raids i need and the veterans alrdy done then
