Default Does anyone understand Dripping with Magma?

I'm finding it really hard to test.

    I want to find out:

    -Does it scale with spellpower?
-Does it scale with Fire spell Crit%
-Does it scale with Fire spell Crit Damage?
-Does is overwrite the Draconic Incarnation Mantle DOT?

-Does it mean that Melee/Ranged characters will have significantly weaker damage with it than a Fire Sorc?

Has anyone done tests on it to confirm?
I cannot get a clear answer on these.

I have it on the legendary Red Dragon scale armor and helmet combo, it doesn't seem to impressive, heard that the damage was nerfed a while back, not sure though.
Darkwinn, Milkus, Terismina, Gothmawg, Dreylock, Drunarah, Bigbhamboo, etc on Sarlona / Brixlynn, Mofus, Curgoth, Deidlit, etc on Ghalanda.

It was given a 1s (iirc) cool down, so it does less damage on fast hitting builds

Damage exactly same, build full stack now 2.5 time slowly... for very fast hitting build... 8)

As far as I know you can apply this rule of thumb:
When from an item, expect no scaling unless explicitly saying otherwise.

I think a more narrow rule of thumb for this case is "no scaling when it procs from a weapon attack, scales on spellpower when it procs from a spell cast"

Though, being a mere rule of thumb, and being DDO, there are always exceptions
