HC Rollback

Did you rollback hardcore? really? My progress from before the patch is all gone. How are u gonna fix that?

Not only that, remember that on hardcore we don't get any bonus.
The server with the least amount of trd characters (and tr caches wich were the problem it seems) gets a rollback and no compensation.

Can't help but wonder if some folks' deaths got rolled back too. That kind of brings a smile thinking of some of the folks we saw die recently might get a second chance. It would be very bad if they didn't - worthy of torches and pitchforks.

Just logged in. The Coalescence Chamber was the last quest we did the night before, and I still have that favor. The rollback doesn't seem to go back more than roughly 20 hours (+/-). Glad I don't have to run that again since it was painful. On the flip side, one of our party died to the jelly cube - so it would have been nice if he got a second chance. Sigh.

On the other hand I wonder how many people died and have now come back to life on HC.

Devs, i want my favor back and my marilith chain.
If you're gonna choose to fix a few ppl (don't think more than 10% of ppl tr on this server if that at all) inv/bank/cache over the rest of the population then fix mine too. I don't wanna re run raids and risk dying for favor i already had.
If hardcore comes with no warranty of any kind then a rollback wasn't needed and i'd still have my items and favor.

Can someone explain the reasoning behind giving no compensation in such cases?

Baffles me. Does SSG really thinks the revenue lost from giving some xp potions, astral shards or w/e is bigger than the revenue lost from the bad reputation piling up when no compensation is given during some blatant, relevant fails on their side?

Seems just a blunder to me.

I would certainly appreciate a 6 hour sovereign pot which would effectively give me back the 3 hours I lost with 9 hours of playing.

I don't expect it, but it would a great goodwill gesture.
