Best.dagger/daggersfor epic leveling

Hello, I am just about done with all the sorcerer pastlives and the rest I am planning to run as a rogue (wood elf, halfling, human and tabaxi) I was wondering what a good dagger to use that will work for most of the epic levels. I have a sentient jewel with 9 slots open that I'm planning to use. Tentatively thinking the shattered device (4 pcs) and the long shad(5pcs). Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.in either filigree ir weapos.weapons. and if I added a 2nd jewel on a 2nd weapon would I get the benefits from both?

However, you can add augments to minor artifacts, and (due to a bug) identical filigrees both stack effects and stack toward set bonuses.

I'm a BIG fan of Pain and Suffering as my dagger pair at the current endgame.

However, if you don't raid or don't raid much, consider pairing the Legendary Goldcursed Dagger (ML 30) with the Legendary Phiarlan Spy Dagger (ML30) at endgame. It's a pretty hard to beat combo.

I like jasonayoung's suggestion of the Epic Goldcursed Dagger at level 20. Look into pairing it with an Epic Phiarlan Spy Dagger (ML 20).

Enhanced Ghostly is good, but Legendary Paralysis is even better. You'll see it work more often than you think. Paralyzed mobs aren't helpless but they are controlled so that's important. Combine it with the Goldcurse from the other dagger and you'll be "freezing" a LOT of mobs.

The Improved Deception on a weapon is good as it stacks with deception in other slots.The Acid Blast doen't hurt, and neither does the critical weakening even though there's a stat damage cap.

I had too... Now I have to go farm a pair. I will not thank red_kain for adding that task to my to do list....

For mid heroic, I also like a pair of Ancient Vulkoorim daggers. Not the great crit profile of stilleto but you do get a set bonus and SLASH damage.

Just weighing in a bit—

You are using a dagger for Vistani’s rapid slash. If you find your AP elsewhere, consider the Tiefling Assasin’s blade—15-20 crit profile, bit of CON drain that can unexpectedly aid you on some unbreakable stone-buffed champ. Once you get IC pierce and tier 5 assassin, the expanded crit range of the jokingly easily acquired Nightforged weapons (along with a red slot and DR adamantine) make them fine babies to stick in stuff.

Sometimes people will use weapons with a high base damage like the Sky Pirate dagger or Sheridan’s wrack. You could make a solid case to use the Sky Pirate’s dagger from 4-19 due to its boosts, high base damage etc.

I recommend the feywild weapons as your pudding/rustie mashers. They are made of Crystal!

For epics, the drow dagger has the same boosted crit profile as the Nightforged daggers. However, that is all they do. They lack augment slots and other boosts that make the glass cannon gripping them a bit safer. I like what people mentioned above—combine the epic Goldcursed with the Epic Pharlian Spy. Both are also a cinch to get via upgrading the heroic version if your chest pulls stink. These two weapons are for CC not boss beaters whereas the drow daggers are better boss beaters. So it depends whether or not you are in a static well-balanced group or if you join random PUGS.
