UPDATE: Argonnessen and Thelanis have reopened.

UPDATE: All game worlds except for Argonnessen and Thelanis have reopened. The game worlds have been rolled back to an earlier state from about 7:00 AM Eastern (-4 GMT) on Thursday, September 22nd. We have also completed work to correct the issue that caused some items to go missing from players' Reincarnation Caches yesterday, so no further item loss should happen when players try to move items out of their Cache.

We have brought down the game worlds while we investigate an issue with items going missing from Reincarnation Caches. We will have more information as soon as we can.

Now would be a good time to open Hardcore server since there are no reincarnation caches and it would still be something we could do to be patient.

so with the title being worlds unavailable Thursday....does this mean that you do not anticipate them reopening until Friday? I get that fixes take time and I want you folks to take your time and do the job right I just want to plan my time accordingly.

I know everyone at SSG puts in a lot of time and effort to put a good product out there and I for one appreciate it. But that being said, every time a new update is put out something breaks. And it's getting a little old.

I dont think anyone would doubt their loyalty and compassion for the game, coding, making expansions etc.. but the biggest problem is.. The game is OLD.. the code is old.. im sure a mess.. like a Football field of yarn all tangled up. Mess with one thing and not knwo how it will affect something else.
All these new ideas are great but trying to apply them to an old game I always feel just wont work. You would have to tear the entire game down and rebuild the entire coding structure , with more efficient code.. but who is going to do that? Not a few developers. As fun as the game is, its just one of those games that barely stays afloat in the water. Its not really anyone fault, just cant do a lot to an old game with out some kind of drawback.

If this has anything, I mean anything at all, to do with one day expanding our Shared Item Bank Account to hold 3,000 to 5,000 items....similar to the Shared Crafting Items Bank Account....then woooo hoooo, take your time, take a week of server downtime, just get'er done.

Well, let's face it, we're talking about another problem caused by messing with (again) something that wasn't broken. They can't do a single game update
without touching things that have worked for years, so they predictably break stuff. Making Archetypes "out of class" to add a new hamsterwheel level was
nearsighted, nerfing an existing class, race, and a spell to "compensate" for poorly-designed subclasses was a travesty in itself, and they still haven't learned.

The entire bank fiasco is just one more topping on a burnt pizza. It's a clown show, and we're not laughing.

Been seeing a lot of bugs lately, like a gold seal hireling going into the ether from the characters bank space to my inventory and the laser in sacred bounty not working, so the doors never opened to reach the end.

So they provided a false hope start time again, late morning. Some persons say this is spaghetti, when you work on code for 15+ years you know it. They are concerned with a rollback. When they cause a problem they penalize the playerbase, when the problem is used by the playerbase they penalize the player base. They cant get it up or keep it up. They still have not fixed the bug that causes crashes on Dino Island with the ASP32.dll file.
