how ever fix the issue roll back and then reupdate the update . or roll back and reupdate without that feature in the update leaving the TR problem prior to the update still unresolved.

If this has anything, I mean anything at all, to do with one day expanding our Shared Item Bank Account to hold 3,000 to 5,000 items....similar to the Shared Crafting Items Bank Account....then woooo hoooo, take your time, take a week of server downtime, just get'er done.

Literally the onyl thing DDO has going for it that makes it unique is reincarnation and true multi-classing. If either of those features were not in the game, 90% of the playerbase would have moved on to more modern and robust MMOs. I know I would. So yes is one of the mainstream features of the game.

We've established that you can't divide by the number of clues that guy has. It's like a cat got on a keyboard or something. Whole game revolves around TRing.

Lol no disable it until all issues are resolved, meanwhile everyone else continues playing. Also consider how much money SSG loses because gamers can't buy potions etc during downtime

Except the problem is not Reincarnating now. The issue is having reincarnated in the past and wanting something out of the bank. The only way to do something like what you recommend is to disable all characters with reincarnation caches. With that number of characters disabled they might as well just leave the servers down. Your suggestion is not feasible.

Like Everquest? YOu lose experience when you die, and need a Cleric with a high % rez to get most of your xp back when they rez you. IM trying to remember was it 95% rez? I had a Cleric with his Epic Weapon click stik to rez people.

Ah the good old days.. nothing like naked runs back to your corpse.. just to die on the way there.. now you got two corpses laying on the ground in different spots.. and losing levels lol.. I actually miss that stuff..made the game interesting.. and the long ass runs from one place to another.

I've been playing this game for a long time (with some extended absences due to RL). When I first started playing this game, TR characters were like "gods". They made it all the way to level 20! In one quest in the demon sands I was in a party with a TR and we were having a difficult time. We all kept dying and some of the party wanted to give up, but I said I won't give up if the TR is still willing to keep trying. We did eventually give up the quest but not until he said that was enough. So when I TR'd my first character I was so excited to have the dragons bordering my character name!.

The reason for this story? I think that TR characters are now the norm and a vital part of that process is building up your gear and having access to it in the TR cache to make your subsequent lives easier. Not everyone does TR... not every character is a TR... but when playing and switching characters, someone may forget that the TR cache is unavailable. A few of my characters have gear that I can never get again (+10% melee/ranged alacrity trinket available at level 5 from the old Cannith crafting system for example) so I would not be happy to lose them.

I would rather they fix the machine than pass out a bunch of bandaids after the fact but continue to use the machine.

God, I made so much cash with my chanter giving mana buffs sitting at any major map entrance. I do miss EQ1..

you forgot to mention having to sit on a dock waiting to catch a boat to sail to the zone you died in made it even better

I remember a time not long ago where problems like this were rare, very rare. So few that the customer service could handle them (not always, but he/she tried to make the best out of it).

Well, that's over now. People wanted more. More Space. More good looking design. Options to search.
Welcome to the Age of the New Bank System (Bugs and disappearing items included; please don't rage and destroy other peoples belongings)

From my perspective I have a vast clue why people like search options and agree to the new bank. From a logical perspective it doesn't make any sense to me, because you need to know the name of an item and that you have it somewhere in the bankspace to search for it successfully. You also have to use both hands to type time efficient. I doubt that that method is faster than finding things in the old bank. But that's just me and my tiny splinter of autism.

But here we are. Put the old Bank to rest and embrace the Future. You asked for it.


PS.: The other parts of the update were pretty cool. Good work.
