Razorclaw Shifter feels kinda bad and I think it doesn't fit thematically or gameplay-wise. Here are some changes that I think could make razorclaw feel good:
- Remove razorclaw's offhand chance from handwraps and allow them to strikethrough instead (Kind of like how druid bear works).
- Allow razorclaw to take and benefit from the natural fighting feat line.
- Give razorclaw hand and a half scaling
I think these changes are both beneficial and thematically consistent. First, it allows razorclaw to scale with strikethrough. One of the major issues is that razorclaw is that it has no synergy with two-weapon fighting, meanwhile, it has 40% strikethrough with an additional 50% on vorpal in the enhancement trees. So adding strikethrough makes sense. Second, the animation for shifters looks like you're cleaving instead of precision striking and looks very similar to druid bear attacks. Third, you are fighting with your claws when unarmed and handwraps and even benefit from magic fang, so it's thematic that they could benefit from the natural fighting feat line. I think that these changes don't make handwraps stronger than regular barbarian but add a huge quality of life and a fun alternative.
