Default Crystal Cove Issues For Legendary Level Characters

Level 31 and 32 characters are only spawning level 1 enemies in Smuggler's Rest, which is impacting their ability to acquire Doubloons from the landscape. Additionally, the Crystal Cove Collection Challenge is not awarding its proper gems when set to level 36 or 37. Both of these issues will be corrected in the near future. Higher level characters can get their proper gems from running the challenge at CR 35.

We are currently working on a fix for both of these issues, and we will have more information about a game update in the future.

Weird that QA didn't pick up on this before the event was released

Also if you click on the link in game from the cove vendor to go to the DDO store to buy Treasure Compasses, nothing is shown in the store. Nor any search for treasure compass, compass, or the like.

Players became front line game testers a long time ago. When the people at Standing Stone Games seek to surprise players, this fact becomes especially obvious.

The developers will push out a patch sometimes in the next week. The worst of the event bugs will get fixed. If enough people ask, Mister Cordovan will probably announce a small event extension. Players will acquire lots of event stuff. Someone will come to the party late, not get the stuff he wanted, and complain. Lots of kobolds will die. Business as usual.

The new augments are very useful. Thanks.

I'd laugh if I wasn't crying. This hits a bit too close to home.

We haven't had faith in that entire department for years now. Doesn't matter what update we're talking about.
It's a never-ending cycle of unneeded "adjustments" and bugs that players can typically find in under an hour.

How can we pick it up if they haven't released it?

Oh, nobody told you that WE are the QA AND Beta testers for the game now?

Can we get some idea of when you are targeting this fix for?

Should we expect to see it this week, next week, or later than that?

    They should fix this. Definitely.

But I am getting a little tired of rushed updates that then need a patch that needs to be patched, so that the servers are down several times a week now. Yes, I guess it's personal, in that these downtimes usually coincide with my gaming time, but I don't think it's too much to ask that we don't need as many "whoops" patches as we're seeing now.

If it doesn't get fixed this go around. Fix it for the next crystal cove event. It will come around again.
