Default Any tips for windowed mode performance?

Hello. I would love to be able to run this game in fullscreen windowed mode, but it seems after a short period of time, the performance drops drastically and becomes very choppy. My pc is plenty fine enough to run DDO, 2080ti, i9 processor, 32 gigs of ram and running off of an m.2 drive and windows 10. Fullscreen mode is smooth without issues, but once going to windowed issues start to arise. I used to run the 64bit client but had to go back to 32bit since Isle of dread came out due to constant crashes. I've reinstalled the game twice and it hasn't helped, tried lower settings and doesn't seem to help. Anything I'm missing? or is this my fate? I only really care because alt tabbing is kind of a hassle in fullscreen when I'm checking the wiki for loot and whatnot.

    So video card driver updates?
Did you install the old direct x files?

What direct x are you running the game in?

Is it possible some other app trying to paint an overlay that is causing issues? Discord, graphics OC app, etc.

Otherwise, given a delay in onset and 64 bit being more prone to crash for some reason, it might be an issue with your RAM/GRAM thrashing. Check to see how much is actually being used, by DDO and overall.

Drivers up to date. Haven't tried to find old direct x files, been using dx 11 in game settings, perhaps i'll try to use 9 or 10 next time I play. I should have also mentioned that this is an issue 2 of my friends that also play have as well, so I don't think its a hardware thing, more likely software or some setting I haven't found yet.
