AFAICR I don't think I have EVER in the history of this game seen them roll back a nerf. I don't think they ever admit to that level of fallibility. The most you can hope for because they sometimes do this instead of walking back a nerf is improvements elsewhere, or to something else entirely or a new feat or enhancement that almost but not quite gives back what was lost but with the opportunity cost of having to spend a later feat, or spend AP where you did not before, or having to lock in a tree that you otherwise would not use.
Blood Scented Axe Body Spray (Thelanis)Aelonwy - Wydavir - Metaluscious - Aertimys - Phantastique - Kaelaria - Lunaura - Aelurawynn - Saurscha - Crystalorn - Aurvaeyn - Vaelyns - Wyllowynd
Actually, spell casters are still so OP.
Because devs didn't touch any spell caster EDs, and didn't change high level spell's damage, cooldown.

I've got to disagree about beacon of hope being a better tree than radiant. We can play *** for tat on that but that is my personal opinion. Plus, clerics just getting healing spells without having to select them on level ups is a massive bonus.
Cleric is the winner in DPS because of mana management, ATM, because of domains. When you have more SLAs to rotate through you have way more mana to spend on heavy hitting spells for a dungeon run. A FVS simply can not keep up with a cleric ATM. I am stating this from in game experience.
This is the heroic experience.
Yes 30% sounds serious until you look at the other metric... 2 points of damage per level. Very few things are resistant to sonic damage; whereas many are resistant/immune to fire (fireball vs sonic blast). It's still a good lv 1 spell, just no longer OP.
Also, I guess I am not included in your "everyone" because I like this correction and don't consider it a "nerf". So please don't speak for all of us.
Dennis the Peasant: Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
That's the way D&D is supposed to be. Wiz/Sorc are supposed to be weak and frail at low levels and rely on their companions to keep them alive. When they reach high levels... They are pretty much GODS. The effort/struggle in the lower levels pays off in the higher levels.

Bards: It's a fair point that bards may need some more long range spell in their spell book than sonic blast, but not sure if the need is at low levels or epics.
Air Savants: Update electric loop to have a reasonable dice (e.g. D6+1, half on save) and air savants are fine.
You are better off letting the sub expire, find a new game (just like I did) and keep an eye out for any leadership change in this game (hence I keep coming back to the forums to check if something is new). It is bad decision after bad decision, its almost they have puts on their own company to go down and profit from that.
Game population has dwindled down to around 1200 on 8 servers since EG7 has taken over.
I beg to differ, my Cleric has the ability when I have sonic specced her to enter a room HE throw a soundburst and insta kill almost everything in the room with it. what didn't die stood there stunned for twice as long as blast does and I finished it off with another burst or a necro ray! Blast and burst are similarly strong the main difference beeing the stun last longer and you burst doesnt break barrels. Agree Bards need something to fight with and "balancing" blast and removing it from Bard took away the only low level something they had, now they are again reduced to buff bots! I wonder if this is to force players to utilise the recently addressed swashbuckler tree if they build a Bard? SSG saying go melee buff bot or go home?

I am sure most of the game will be empty, i.e. more people will quit if that happens.
Tell me, what is the fun or point of playing a sorcerer or a wizard if they cannot do what they are destined to do at level 20+ from any D&D book or lore.
There are already plenty of nerfs:
1) Where is the "fly" spell? They are supposedly able to fly around and not being "hit" from the ground. Where is the Mirror Image spell? Greater stone skin spell? Iron skin spell? Instead we got Gold skin which only Alchemists can cast. To be honest Goldskin is not great at cap either. One hit from any legendary reaper 6+ monster will wipe it out completely and even causes death.
2) Where is the "energy immunity" spell? They can cast a spell to be absolute immune to a certain energy. e.g. fire.
3) Where are the multiple summons? In regular D&D the high level caster can summon a whole army.
4) Where are the spell storing and contingency facilities? In DDO we have items like the Spell Storing ring. In regular D&D it is actually not an item.
5) Where are the counter-spells? Twin cast spell feats? Energy Substitution feats? Shape Substitution?
The are also tons of missing spells. One example is Simularcum. Only Kor Kaza can cast it, Why not our casters?

With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility
I have already seen a migration from the game in the last year, mainly due to bad design choices. With this update being a relative dumpster-fire, we've already lost some good players,
and more are just letting their subs expire. I'm not expecting SSG to get a clue and roll-back the dumb U56 nerfs, but with such a pile of useless changes, we doubt they're coming back.
With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility
"Oh no, someone playing a powerful class in heroics has made one of my 200+ possible Reincarnations complete slightly faster and with less leveling boredom, I am extremely distressed that a power fantasy exists for the 8 hours it takes an uber TR nerd to level from 1-20, Lord almighty, however shall this terrible problem continue to plague our video game community??? I know, I shall endeavor to support a worse player experience across the board and ensure that everyone trying to grind out LITERAL HUNDREDS of repetitious completions of the game enjoys it considerably less!"
I'm so glad Bards/Wizards/Non Fire Sorcs now get to return to MOTU levels of early game exhaustion and misery. I know nothing is more fun than hoping the local TR junky is completing a Barbarian life and doing early "Harbor + WW Reaper + BYOH + speed" to carry you.
I certainly hope we can return to "divines" waiting until level 10/12 for their only viable offensive spell in the game (blade barrier if you're new) before pretty much exclusively casting that to make it to 20. I know when entire archetypes of casters are relegated into niche positions, they are more fun and enjoyable!
Balancing Heroics around people complaining about "muh casters" only negatively affects those precious few new players, who are now going to find out how terrible their non R2 Speedrunning LFMs really are.
Do we get to complain that Barbarians get access to near permanent speed boosts early on if they use the 50% boost and then combo a Athletics T3 + dismiss rage + resto pot?
You know it is pretty broken that a single class gets to have almost 80% uptime on super fast movement speed, and when I'm playing Artificer I hate when quests get completed quickly and seamlessly for the thousandth time I'm doing them. Really upsets me that adding additional players into my party makes the game easier. I really dislike it.
You take a year long break from the game and come back hoping we've figured out that heroics don't matter and should be an enjoyable power fantasy before things get more serious in the form of Epic and Legendary difficulty. Mores the pity.
