My client has crashed a number of times while trying to access any of the Guild ship levels. I gave up after 15 times in A row, and now I am separated from A precious haggle item.
Anyone else experiencing this problem or do I need to find A new life And MMO after 14+ years of this one.

Yes. Mine crashed every time I tried to access the cargo hold.

Tried a different guild ship, same thing.

It also crashes every time I log out of a character and into a new one. I can only log in with one character without restarting the client.

i just tested this and same result for me.

It came close to crashing for me and while trying to get into the guild ship stayed there loading for nearly a minute.

Accessing levels on my ship.
Using active client to swap characters.
Using Ddoor
Using the teleport spell after teleporting into a location.
Using the teleport ring in FoD.

Do you use the Steam client?

If so, might I suggest not using it?

Click on the DOWNLOAD menu item at the top of this page and download the client directly.

That's what I've done and I don't have ANY of these issues across several machines.

No steam for me. I had all of those. I uninstalled the client. Deleted any folder under my user appdata director that had anything to do with turbine, ssg, or Dungeons and dragons. Reinstalled the client and all was fixed.

Not using Steam, but thank you. I figured out the fix thanks to a pm from another player. A fresh install didn't work initially, and the repair option from the launcher would even start its process however this worked. https://files.ddo.com/ddo/installers/ddolive.exe Choose the repair option.
