I cannot argue this point. Part of that, however, is wondering what might be needed later, or if something in the world changes, etc. ...and yes, part of it IS just, "It's mines! I keep ALL my shinies!"

I gave up LotRO ten years ago because inventory management was at least half the game for me and who wants to spend all their time sorting bags and making space for whatever drops next?

LOTRO has made some GREAT changes in inventory management. Various bags now, my main favorites being Crafting and Task bags. Combine that with VIP remote access to Vaults, AH, and Shop - really helps keep backpack space under control on those long overland jaunts.

That remote access thing would be awesomeness here, along with the VIP remote Mail LOTRO has had for some time.

I have run with folks in the past who open a chest, take 1 or 2 select pieces, then run off letting the rest rot. I've tried, I can't do it. Normal ammo, or spell components is best I can manage to leave behind. Yes, I still stop to pick up those little stacks of Copper from breakables - except on HC this season. I wear my Packrat badge with pride.
