Default How is this ... Bank supposed to work

Is it working as intended that to put something in a new tab, I have to drag it into my inventory from main, manually switch to the new tab, then drag the item from inventory back to the new tab?

If so its completely useless for the TR cache.

Dragging an item from the main tab and dropping it on another tab is doing nothing at all for me.

Agreed. Waste of time in TR cache and a pain in the shared account. We should be able to simply drag items to the tab

Last Lam version you could drag onto a tab to move an item. I would gather they broke that when doing other last minute changes. The last Lam version forced you to go through the inventory to move between banks so at least that was fixed.

The inability to drag from one tab to a newly created tab is a bug.

It could use an instruction video for sure.

Interacting with it, of course, is super slow as everybody and their aunt are moving stuff around.

I have also noticed that when I close any bank window(TR, Character, Account), while the other two windows now stay up, attempting to pull an item out tells me I am too far away from the banker.

I'm not a big fan of this new bank system. I now have to search for my next TR item set, instead of taking the items in a row where I put them. Do I now have to make tabs for each set of items? Meh. Color me not impressed.

And no new bank slots, of course, meaning all this work for nothing (so far, at least).

I was hoping it would be more like player inventory where you can organize everything the way you want it, where you can switch to the "scroll" tab and then search through the detailed list if you want to, but what we got was another 2 account style banks which are just a big mess of stuff you cannot organize.

Yeah, this feels like a step backwards in user friendliness to me. The lack of ability to orgarnise it visually is very annoying.

To get around it, I guess I'll have to make tabs for different things. More make-work, like TR cache-emptying. Definitely not what I wanted more of.

Edit: A thought - do tabs stay after TR?

Is there a way to name the tabs that you create? Personal or Shared?

Push the lilttle arrow at the top of the tabs box. It will reverse direction. You can then put your cursor in the tab name field and change it. Press the arrow again when yo are done to stop editing.

Yeah, not very intuitive. I thought that was some sort of docking control.

    Thanks!

Though after doing this, if you actually hover over that arrow for a bit, it does give you the 'Edit tab name' context script.

Default not so happy with the new bank

In terms of organization the new bank system is a mess.
Not being able to drag the items into another folder is apparently a bug. thankfully
Unlocking the windows so you can organize things horizontal would be neat. Also being able to move items in the vertical row would help. Otherwise you have to move the complete line above into the inventory and back just to get the item into the proper spot again.
The grid system was perfectly fine. Five tabs with twenty items each gave a fine overview.
Setting up the new bank with twenty underfolders for each toon will take ages :/

I see some potential for improvements here.

Default Additional New Bank Tab Issues

Perhaps this is not a bug, but how it was designed. If so, then it really just makes our organization efforts more difficult.

I messed around with the new Bank Tab system. Was able to rename the Tabs I created and give them new name - excellent. But then I had to transfer items from the shared bank, back to regular bank, then transfer them back to a newly created Tab - a bug that the Dev's are aware and will fix - fine. However, if I move an item from the Main tab to one of my newly created Tabs, it only shows in the new Tab, and no longer shows in the Main Tab. Is this WAI? Shouldn't the created Tabs be a subset of the Main Tab? Shouldn't the Main Tab contain all items, and the created Tabs be able to further organize them?

If this is how it was designed, then it is pretty worthless, as I would have to click on each and every Tab to be able to see all my items.

New banks look ugly and waste a ton of visual space on the right hand side :/

Not completely worthless, as by naming tabs you know where to look for things (naming a tab 'potions' for instance, you know all your potions should be there) but yeah, I can see it may be frustrating. I'm trying to decide how to set it up, level range, gear slot, expansion (very unlikely this one). My biggest issue right now it the inventory dance. Playing with it may reveal other things I have issues with.
