Sonic Blast Change

I don't believe I've seen a single person voice any type of positive reaction to the sonic blast change. So I figured let's make a poll to visualize the proportions a bit. Not sure if I remember how to make a poll, so my apologies if it doesn't come out as expected.

Edit: Apparently I directly stole someone else's post title, sorry! I should've known this wording was in my head for a reason. Hopefully "Poll" differentiates them enough.

I am not one to complain about nerfs to maintain balance as sometime things get out of whack and need to be reined in.

But in this case changing something that has been acceptable for a long time and changing its behavior mostly because a new feature is coming out (i believe this change is triggered by stormsinger development) then it seems to me the issue is with the new feature and not the long running behavior. Leave it as it is and if stormsinger makes it too powerful, figure out how to change that dynamic.

It's already powerful, and Stormsinger will only make it more so. That said, I'm not convinced that this is the right nerf.

Stormsinger will increase spellpower, so make it more deadly; but non-SS Bards don't rely on the damage, only the CC.

So, reduce the innate damage, not the AoE CC factor.

Have the lightning not proc off of sonic blast. There we go, I fixed the problem.

Please take into consideration that it is one of the most useful and fun spells in the game, a true icon. Popping breakables with sound blast is just hilarious. While Wiz and Sorc have alternatives for aoe, bard does not really. So the aoe part is more important (to me) than the damage. I think the damage is reasonable. Some can afford to pump all metas in it at early level but I doubt the regeular player can.

I couldnt believe this. I soooooo want to rage quit over this. I LOVE my beloved lil sorcy's wiz's and bard's with this spell! How am I gonna do reasonable enough to keep the lil ones alive? This change totally broke my heart and made me realize yet again someone new comes in and does stupid things with out knowing all the ramifications of the people it hates upon when things to get fu.. er worked over in a bad way. I hates it precious .. WE HATES IT!! Couple months later, and Im STILL PIZZED! but waited this long to to calm down a bit .. just a bit .. so i dont blow up and tell how I REALLY feel. Can I/BiitchSlaap someone hard over this?
Just my 2c worth ... makes my heart want to cry foul gaming tears ...
