Tome of Untold Legends & Shield of Legends Farming, Advice Needed.

Hi All,

I am a couple of pages for the Tome of Untold Legends (II and V) and 3 pieces short for the Shield of Legends. (5, 6, & 7).
I need these to upgrade my Quiver of alacrity.

There were some posts on this a few years back but nothing of late.

This page suggests that Cholthulzz chest is best for tome II,
and that Mentau and Cinnis chests are best for tome V.
Are these the Orchard quests or Litany optionals?

Does anyone have a feeling what would be the best option for these tome II & V?
I personally prefer the litany optionals to the Orchard quest.

Also, it is an option to go for the shield instead. I only need pieces 5, 6 & 7 and they seem to mainly occur in Inferno and Fleshmakers (My least favorite of the quests.

All chests in the wilderness can drop these things, too. It is speculated that the rare chests close to the quests drop the related pieces. Imo, it is easy to farm but the general drop rate is lower because the wilderness scales as normal.

It might be best to trade or buy your missing pieces.

Thanks for the reply.

I am on Orien.
I would definitely be interested in a trade. At the moment I am starting to get doubles of the other Tome pages. Unfortunately, I put the extras I had from my previous life farming effort on the Auction but I am collecting again.
I might put a message on the Orien forum offering an exchange. I am sure there are others still trying to get some for the quiver.

No problem then. I am on Orien, too and my guild has spares. My guildmate just needs to login the guild bank. I hope that will be tomorrow; if not Wednesday.
