    Default Do Hounds still spawn during villain monologues?

    I mean the ones where player characters are stuck immobile, like Captives of the Hidden God or Spinner of Shadows. Because if they do, that's an certain party wipe.

    That has supposedly been fixed.

    Hounds have never spawned in spinner. Not sure about Captives.

    (They have never spawned in Captives either. We did put in some extra bulletproofing in the last patch just in case something went sideways, but to my knowledge what we put in to prevent that before HC6 launch has worked.)

    Default It seems to depend

    I have not seen a spawn during a scene until last night.


    Running Partycrashers, R1, full group, at end (did optionals - no fighting), Hounds spawned as Cyan was beginning her dialogue.

    what about reapers? read about a reaper spawning monday on a friend and party wiping group (live not hc)

    Reapers still do, we're working on something related to that. No ETA yet.

    I think they are referring to scenes where players are blocked from all actions. For example being held at the end of Spinner of Shadows.

    Scenes where there is no fighting and just dialogue would still be acceptable times for a hound to spawn.

    I was a bit concerned running Finding the Path since there is 5-10 seconds of immobilization during the sleep/trance as you fade into the dream and then back again. We had a hound around 2-3 minutes before the skelly/rusty/marut fight, so we were fairly safe, but I was ready to hit alt-f4 if I heard the hound noise.
