    Default U55 The Septic Tank

    The Septic Tank

    Race: Half Elf
    Class: Cleric 15, Fighter 3, Barbarian 2

The Septic Tank is an acid/poison caster. The Septic Tank utilizes multiple layers of defenses that ensure that it can survive almost anything. There isn't much in the game that can punch through 3600 Temp HP and 500 PRR. In the rare case that you do meet such a threat, The Septic Tank has 60 seconds of 25% physical resistance from Half-Elf Diplomatic Immunity. If that doesn't work, there is divine intervention and death pact.

The Septic Tank has a wide array of useful options that allows it to deal with any crud it comes across.

    How does the build work?

    Step 1: Position yourself

Engagement begins with casting Blade Barrier shortly before contact with enemy group. This is to catch any stealth monsters.

Run into the middle of the visible monster pack and activate intimidate.

Move across to the far edge of the monster pack and turn around.

If done correctly, you have caught aggro on all the stealth monsters as well as the entire visible monster group. They will now turn around to face you and begin attacking you. This focuses their cleave attacks away from the party since the party members are now behind them.

    Step 2: Establish control

The monsters are going to dump a crapload of damage on you. As The Septic Tank, you must process all that sh*t as efficiently as possible.

Cast Guard Up, and then Shard Storm. This will generate a Temporary Hit Point buffer of 2600 HP. Your blade barrier and Shard Storm will also proc your Brighthorn Dinobone Augment, which brings your total Temp HP to 3600.

Turning around also lets you see the entire monster group and spot any stray monsters. Knights Challenge the stray monsters.

    Step 3: Clean Up

Shield Block. Consecration for the 10% damage bonus. It also does decent healing to take pressure off of the healer.

You are leveling up as a caster DPS. First 10 levels of cleric will give you max caster levels for you SLA nukes. Two-shot everything in heroics.

Like shield throw, greatest shout also has no save on its AoE stun. Why not try out 39 US, 12 PA, 22 FS, and rotate greatest shout and shield throw for AoE permastun to go with your tanking?
