    Default HCL 7 Idea

    How do they one-up the hound concept from season 6? Anytime from 1 min to 3 min into a quest, a Coyle will spawn. This is the same Coyle from Threnal, same threat, same squishyness. But if Coyle dies, you die, you have to keep him alive for the next 5 minutes, or until quest is completed.

    Why not just rando weekly server wipes while you're at it. ffs.

    Make all damage permenant and you can only get it back while resting at an inn!

    Random cracks in the planar multiverse.

    Every few minutes, the server secretly chooses an encounter and specific /LOC within that encounter. Then it checks to see if there are any active instances of that encounter. (If multiple, one is randomly chosen) If there are no active instances of the chosen /LOC, then the timer resets and checks again in a few minutes.

    Activating the planar rip at the chosen /LOC within the chosen quest, everything within a certain range of the rip are drawn within and instantly destroyed, no save. All game locations are vulnerable, quests and wilderness areas.


    ** Extra evil: /LOC can be ANY location in the game, including open town areas, taverns, guild ships, etc. Why not go all in, riight?

    HCL 7 idea.

    Do whatever you like with content difficulty but do not have anything random that has to be dealt with immediately. Mimics are fine - no God requires us to open the chests.

    Do not require us to log out of the game in an area that we have just thoroughly cleared if the boss calls or a two year old starts screaming more frantically than usual or a spouse wants something "now".

    Do not make it almost impossible for us to even talk to groupmates or guildmates because a 15 second conversation may mean a random event triggers before we can finish the dungeon.

    It is the random appearance of hounds that some of us truly hate - not the difficulty or risk. If a hound spawned in for every other boss encounter or every few pulls of trash - no problem. We at least can control the timing of when we pull.

    No more gimmicks, just add more lag if people want more difficulty.
    Darkwinn, Milkus, Terismina, Gothmawg, Dreylock, Drunarah, Bigbhamboo, etc on Sarlona / Brixlynn, Mofus, Curgoth, Deidlit, etc on Ghalanda.
