Default Guide to First Lifers in R10 - Tips and Tricks for R10's and Bard

    Hello all!
I have been hard at work on a guide that has turned out to be my biggest project yet. In this new guide I will give you lots of tips and tricks for running r10's with characters that don't have every past life.
I will also talk to you about some important factors that exist in DDO that are more important than past lives.

Included in the bottom half of the guide is my Bard Build. I have a version for First Life and a version for Completionists.
Both versions of the build can run in the same content without problems. The first life bard simply requires more game knowledge.

I hope you all enjoy the guide, there are many videos and screenshots for you to peruse for a better idea of things I am talking about.

Just a note to anyone thinking this is a 'guide for new players to dive right into r10' .. it is not. Honestly, by the time you farm all that gear and gain enough rxp, you might as well get a few lives under your belt and learn the content and see how others zerg it. More fun than gear farming IMO and it takes more than a few runs to really learn the quests.

    That is very subjective.

Learning how to zerg low level quests on a completely unrelated build might be fun for some and if your goal is the TR hampster wheel that's great, but won't really help you learn how to play your character in actual difficult content. Actually building out and completing a character and learning its full potential with full gear is far more rewarding in my opinion, and if people are taking the time to look at a r10 build on a first life character good for them, it can be done and by starting then you will be about a million rxp ahead of others who run off to TR straight away. But each to their own.

The Myth- TR will make my character powerful
The Reality- Those kobolds in Water Works won’t have a chance but nothing else cares-Learn to play your build and all its abilities in actual difficult content, get gear and reaper points in level 30+ content and raids.

All of those high level legendary quests are also low level quests. I would rather learn them first before going into R10.

Fair enough, but learning the mechanics of a quest is not really hard, and often running them on a lower level has nothing to do with how you would run it at cap.
