with lots of help from my fellow guild friends I was able to get a character into level 28. It's my very first character at that level (the other one is at level 25, and played only rarely these days).

I don't have any raid items except those from low level raids.
I have a few heroic versions from "epicified" quests.

My suggestion now is, to develop some kind of general currency with which I can upgrade Tempest Spine items into epic version. I don't even mean legendary, because I'm not there (yet).

It is I think the only raid without any epic versions - and what is even more disappointing - to put it more diplomatic - is, because it is the only F2P raid.
Because of that, it looks to me as if it was intentional not to give players the possibility to get upgraded epic versions of these raid pieces.

I have several items from "epicified" quests, which I only have because I played them through with guild friends (except 1 soloed).
I see that I'd have to play these quests through several times to get enough specific currencies to be able to upgrade these items. I have no problems with that.
I saw them in the alter's barter version for upgrading into epic versions.
The more I was surprised not to see a single Tempest Spine Raid Item in the altar's barter window - I assumed that ALL raid items had upgraded versions ! I was wrong.

What about these "raid runes" I read in these forums (but haven't seen so far, as I never did any legendary content so far) ? Could these be used as a general currency to upgrade Tempest Spine items ? These runes would have to drop within Tempest Spine or somewhere else, though.

As a side note I would like to thank everyone who has been helping me so far. I wouldn't have a character at level 28 so soon without any help.
